I only allow this game thread to exist because the game started. I definitely have dibs on game 2 to keep my streak alive.

Can somebody explain to me what happened or link a video? I was unable to watch the game.

Tampa is a very good team and on a very hot streak. We're a very good team that isn't necessarily on a hot streak, so we're at the disadvantage. I'd just like to see us get hot.

Do you even need to say Eldred hit a bomb or can it just be assumed?

I won't be able to watch because I am playing baseball so I decided making the game thread would be my penance. Hopefully I'll be able to make several more before the next poster has to take the reins.

I have a Quentin authentic on the way. When it's cold I wore my 1983 Sox hoodie and Sox stocking cap.

I think Javy wasn't yanked because of his pitch count. Way too much stock is put into pitch count in terms of leaving pitchers in late in the game when in jams.

I'm not on the Gio bandwagon like so many Soxtalkers were/are. I think he may do well, but there is no reason to think he is going to be an ace. His stuff isn't unbelievable, his control isn't impeccable. What is it that seems to project so well?
