  1. QUOTE(RoyHobbs @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 09:04 PM) Look no further than the first game Grossman came back. Can we say deep ball. It was such a great thing to see and hopefully we see nothing but that all of next year. Can't wait for Bears Season. What up TalkBears! ToddO'Connor16 Deep ball for the Bears last season is anything over 10 yards.
  2. QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 04:10 PM) That just might be my favorite smiley. Ever.
  3. I really would rather have Tony G than Cintron, even tho Cintron is a lefty. I just really like the brand of ball Tony plays. He's the type of player the Sox need.
  4. QUOTE(IloveGload @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 03:34 PM) Gload wore 26 before him and Brian Daubach wore 26 before Gload The good ol days with Brian Daubach DHing.
  5. The coaching staff needs to show they are willing to make changes in order to win, because the players aren't showing that they are.
  6. QUOTE(beleiveinbrian44 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 07:50 PM) the only good thing that happened today was joe's haircut I think Crede looks like a bad motherfisher with his new hair (or lack thereof)
  7. I feel very good about the quarterback position. Last year with Grossman in there was just a totally different feel to the game, it was refreshing when you felt like you had a threat to score. And this year we have a more than capable backup as well. And as always, one of the best lines in football.
  8. Why are there so many phin fans on a Sox message board?
  9. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 09:58 AM) I've got too much t-t-t-time on my hands You got that right.

    You would think his trade value would be higher than what it is.
  11. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 06:40 PM) It seems to be fairly accurate in this case. I'd definitely rank Dunn, Pods, Lee, and Soriano all in the bottom 5. I don't know this for fact, but has Soriano really improved as much as many say he has? If so, would a season stat really be that telling? The rest of those are at the bottom of the list for a reason. Carlos Lee had an obscenely long errorless streak going a couple years ago though, and we know he is absolutely atrocious out there.

    QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 07:39 AM) That Ray Durham sig is one of the best I've ever seen... does that make you feel better? Nothing with Ray Durham can be the best.
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 10:24 AM) In terms of qualified Left Fielders playing defense, here are your bottom 5 in MLB (in order): Fielding percentage is really not an accurate way to measure outfield defense.

    Saw that he hasn't been active in the minors this year. What happened to him?
  15. QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 11:44 PM) They need to change that grinder ball rule about power: It goes never underestimate the power of power. It needs to say: Never underestimate the power of power: Power has the power to destroy what the grinder ball was built on: The power of no power. We always hit a lot of home runs. Right now we just aren't doing much of anything else. Other than throw gopherballs to the other team and pop up.
  16. Rally Soriano!
  17. Good stuff RME JICO.
  18. QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:50 PM) Stupid ass Bill Plaschke said we should trade for Maddux (Mariotti called him an idiot). God I hate that guy. I saw that as well. Just asinine.
  19. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:30 PM) I'm Sorry, Don Cooper is away from his desk and at Old Country Buffet. Please leave a message after the tone ... Gotta feed the beast!
  20. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:28 PM) Jesus might not be able to fix this mess. coop >>> jesus
  21. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:26 PM) We could keep talking about breaks, or our pitchers could stop throwing very very crushable 0-2 pitches. I think it our pitchers start to think a bit more, and execute on 0-2 instead of giving up dongs, the game might have a different spin. But they were sure lucky to get an 0-2 hanging forkball gift. screw that. coop will fix it.
  22. Corpseball is for fudgepackers.
  23. This corpseball spiff is gay.
  24. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:09 PM) Doesn't drop the gloves mean they are going to fight in hockey. Are you guys gonna webcast that? What are the odds on the fight? With all the posters he's threatened it should be a nice handicap match!
  25. I hate how we condone people harassing others here. You know what WSI does to trolls.
