  1. I don't know Brando (BTW, who were you on the troll boards?). Huskers wife had a baby and I think he still makes an infrequent appearance on the Flub board. I don't know whatever happened to MaidenVoyage. He was a great poster and good at shooting down the bulls***. I think someone said they thought he was in the service. I don't remember AT.
  2. I think people are seriously overrating Josh Stewart...Hummel sucks and will never see the light of day in the majors and Valenzula's swing is too long. The beauty of it is that they have two more seasons to improve.

  11. Anyone remember the HBO movie "Long Gone" with William Peterson, Virgina Madson and Durmont Melrony? A very good baseball movie about the minor leagues in the 60's.
  12. Who created this pole? Dale Petroskey?
  13. That's two titles in a row cwsox. First time in 31 years that has been done and with only losing one senior from the team it looks like it could be a three peat (Pat, the check is in the mail). As for having Minnesota beat in Division One, I beg to differ. The WCHA has got to be the toughest division in Div I hockey: 1. Colorado College (30-7-5) 2. Minnesota (26-8-9) 3. North Dakota (26-12-5) 4. Minnesota State (20-11-10) 5. Minnesota-Duluth (22-15-5) Just check this seasons final regular season rankings: 1 Cornell 2 Colorado College (WCHA) 3 New Hampshire 4 Minnesota (WCHA) 5 Ferris State 6 Boston University 7 Michigan 8 Boston College 9 Maine 10 Harvard 11 MSU-Mankato (WCHA) 12 North Dakota (WCHA) 13 Ohio State 14 Minnesota-Duluth (WCHA) 15 St. Cloud State (WCHA)
  14. I used to feel the same way chisox until moving from Chicago to Minneapolis. I never had any exposure to NHL hockey when I was a kid since I didn't have cable and once I did I still couldn't see home games. During the first season of the Wild I thought I'd watch a game or two and since then I've been hooked. They even show home games on FREE TV up here...imagine that. Hockey is still below football and baseball on my sports radar but it has moved way up past the pathetic NBA.

Twelve games into the season, none of the above have played at an All-Star level.

  18. I thought Tim Floyd was one of the finalists for the Georgia job? Whatever happened with that? He's waiting for Krause to catch on somewhere so he can get a job.
  19. Stef, a buddy of mine should be getting back to me tonight and he might know of someone close to your area. Sorry I haven't had any more success for you.

    Religous Stuff

If there isn't a God there are going to be alot of upset athletes and music artists.
  23. I think some of the frustration right now is that this is a part of the schedule where the Sox need to make a run even though it is the first few weeks into the season. Plus the fact that everyone is still in shock over the Royals. BTW, since the 0-3 start, the Sox have won 5 of 6.
  24. No, sorry Steff, nothing yet.
