Yeah, but that's not a standard option.

I rarely use mine (or rather, when I was in cold weather climates as I am not now). If you have the heat and front defrost on long enough (ie: 5 minutes), then all the windows are defrosted and defogged [or so from my experience]. On the other hand, the cold slab of leather on your rear ... now that remains cold for most of the commute/drive. Now, if someone could somehow tie in the remote start into the seats (or if you just leave it depressed when you turn the vehicle off I suppose AND leave the heat on as well...), then the combination of having the vehicle started w/ the heat running for a few minutes...
-
To the original question: Nah.
-
What 4x4 ya got?
-
I voted for the heated seats. Otherwise, leather is some cold s*** on your rear in the winter.... EDIT: Jester, agree w/ you on the 4X4 as well.

No contest. Walden Pond. Henry David Thoreau.

I didn't read the article. Is the Anti-Americanism from France recent news or is it the same old regurgitated crap from all the way back when they were saved from speaking German?

Since I eat so healthy that it would sicken most of you, I can honestly chime in with: I wouldn't take any candy. Think about it too: deserted island....low on drinkable water and .... candy?

One would think he would want to stay in the NL and face the Braves and Cardinals 20+ times..

If that is the 24 seconds of whatever episode that you watched that you would like to embrace and cherish about that show, then have at it.

Law & Order was, and still is great. It's about the only show on Wednesday night that sparks any interest in turning the tv on. Sadly, Wednesday nights are usually the night flying nights, so I have not seen a Law & Order this season yet. Can anyone actually remember, and I'm not talking re-runs here folks, Law & Order when the detective duo was that of [characters] Greevey and Logan? I might be in the minority, but I actually enjoy Law & Order: SVU just as much, if not more so, than the original. I've been a fan of Christopher Meloni's since he was on HBO's Oz (one of my favorite shows of all time), and Mariska Hargitay is just absolutely hot [fear not girls, my wife openly agrees to that as well]. And I'm not talking about the jacked-up version with the crazy hair that was at that award show. Plus, what other show has so many ex Oz characters on it? (SVU has/has had Meloni, Wong, Winters and Morfogen on it at some point). Sadly, yet again, SVU is on Tuesdays and butting heads with NYPD Blue and I usually give preference to NYPD Blue first. It's the last season! Law & Order: CI. Ugh. I have nothing nice to say about this spinoff...at all. EDIT: Changed CSI to CI on the last L&O. Shows ya how much I care about it eh?

Is Lieb's contract still sitting on $7.5M for '05 and a team option of $7.5M (or $1.25M buyout) for '06? A bit pricey for someone of his questionable health performances.

How much of Lennie Briscoe's wise-ass remarks will be missed or is he missing any filming time at all?

So at what point does Crede not get to use this as a crutch?

Hudson pushing himself onto the trade block?

No, but most likely gut the bullpen w/ an asking price that includes Marte. -
At what price? That snippet only mentioned that "$18M and/or 10 years was too much.." Did it mention anywhere else a figure of Magglio-like at $14M?

ESPN News Reports RJ Will be a Yank next week

Duncan can hit, but he's getting by on natural talent against 18-20 year olds as of now (obviously). He's got a stiff and ugly stance, but what a goddamn gorgeous swing. He's got one of those "natural Griffey-like" left-handed swings. Sadly, Duncan is almost completely and utterly useless at 3B. He makes at least two errors a game that are officially recorded, another 2-3 mental errors, and usually manages another error that somehow never gets attributed to him. Having watched him for a great length of time and having sat 30 feet or so away from him, I have gotten some close looks at the kid. [i'm secure in my sexuality -- he's a kid that probably gets it alot..]. I know I've probably confused and aggrivated the s*** out of him with my "Atta' boy Eric" when he trots out onto the field after his ABs, in conjunction with my "Jesus Christ Dorn, stop with that Ole' s***!" when he's in the field. But, is he a prospect that I'd want in my organization? Yeah. He's going to be in the show someday, I just don't know if it will be at another position or as a good-hitting/poor-fielding 3B. I suppose he could always have better defense drilled into him along his minor league career.... -
I think a .350 OBP for Crede is a bit high -- perhaps in the .320-.330 range.

Schilling openly wanted out. RJ does not. Hence, the difference in leverage.

Where is Ben Maller pulling this out of...
USAF_11F4H replied to USAF_11F4H's topic in Pale Hose Talk
First ... this was an article or Q&A or whatever you want to call it ... out of the ass of one single Tribune writer. Secondly, in the far-fetched hypothetical scenario proposed of sending Sosa/Prior here for Lee and whatever, the hypothetical scenario, proposed by someone who posts on this board, included the Cubs not being responsible for the remainder of Sosa's contract -- the Sox would be. Thirdly, how the hell you jump to sending Sosa to the Mets for next-to-nothing (salary wise), with "this cash saved" that was never THERE .. in a HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO is beyond me, as well as probably everyone else that posts here. Lastly, I can't even begin to get into the "w/ the cash saved, go after Beltran" addition that you put on there w/o going hysterical. You say you'd be a better GM than KW. Your ideals, logic and proposals wouldn't even be accepted by ASB05 on the Xbox, much less in the real world of MLB GMs. Hi. I'm from earth. Have we met? -

If the Mets are balking at taking on Sosa's contract from the Cubs, why wouldn't they balk at it coming from the Sox? -

I see now that he got it from a side note from a Tribune article. So, I guess he's regurgitating the Tribune's baseless junk...
