Also figure that Blalock is going going to have to face 1 good SP staff in Minny, Cleveland is okay, but then he gets to feast on the Royals and Tigers... THe WEst has great staffs in every team execpt the Rangers..And I can't see him hitting against his own pitchers.

Well when you lose out on the Furcal bidding, trade 3 pitchers from our minors for a rental, overpay for 2 Avg bullpen arms..How do you expect to have anything left to trade and make a deal for a OF who actually is needed. I made the suggest that Sosa's a FA they should go after him, he is the face of the Cubs MO.

Why so we get nothing for him? Vazquez at 4 and BMac at 5 I take that anyday of the week. Trade him to the Dodgers For Edwin Jackson and Delwyn Young.
