Also remember that Shea number 1 WR was the "great" David Terell, his "OL" was patchwork which allowed 66 sacks.. Shea was bad, but also had nothing to work with. Turner has a great OL, upgrade in WR, and manages less offense.

As much as I want to try and deal Garland.. No thanks to Zito, IMO he is going to the NL.. besides..remember the last time we traded for a pitcher with the A's..That worked out well huh? Here is my problem with handing Garland a 6-7year deal...WHY? If anyone on the team deserves a JR no no, its Marky... How bad is Mark going to feel when we hand a kid with one good season a 6 year deal and the sox will only give Mark a 3 year?

A deal would be made, if another team is involved, so be it.. But I think Webb would be great in a SOx uni.. I wanted him last year when most wanted Johnson.

Being NL only there are SS are like Platinum to Rap stars.. Right now I have Lopez from Cinny but trying to make deal for Howard, the person that has him has no SS.

Has anyone thought of this.. Anderson gets his feet wet this year in CF.. 07 Dye leaves now we know if Anderson is the real deal or is Joe B Version 2.0. If he is as good as advertised he takes over in RF and Owens comes up in 07 to take over CF, getting the same treatment as anderson this year. I see the Sox doing this with a back-up plan for the simple reason we are a team strpped for cash, we need our farm system to produce cheap talent. This way in 07 when we have to either re-sign Jose C or go after another SP in the market, to keep us atop of the ALC again.

As Willy pointing out that Beckett Flaws.. I do agree somewhat with Willy.. Its HARD to repeat in baseball, so that is something I am keeping in mind. I say we make the playoffs no problem if Thome stays healthy, and Contreas pitches well.
