I don't see Phils wanting another OF prospect compared to a SP one. They have the offense they need pitching...IMO

For me its simple, I see who wants me, and where I would fit best.. See the offers, now if San Diego and Colorado are offering similar type money I go with the better living for me and that would be SD.. But if Colorado is offering 4 mil more per year I think I would be stupid not to go to Col, depending on how long the deal is for. Now Personally I would want to stick with the same team that I came up with, you never see this anymore, I think loyality would be rewarded.

If Reggie Bush comes out from USC. Just think of him in the backfield if they can get him in the draft. That is the missing piece in that offense.

ESPN has it 2 year for 11 mil.. so that would be 5.5mil

IF he comes here and Paulie resigns.. Just think of the double plays that will happen! I don't think either Delgado or Thome are here at the start of the season. Phils are going to want to much for him.

So JP comes here, plays CF.. How is Ozzie getting Anderson in the lineup? WE are basiclly trading Pauly for JP in our lineup.. Bad idea. If Pauly leaves we need power, sorry we need power..

I didn't say he had a great season, but Cano helped his team IMO better than Street.

I would have voted Cano over Street.. Street was injured and never really did a whole lot to make that big of a difference to make RoY

The only person from SD I would want that we have a shot at is Josh Barfield there 2b prosept. He is about a year away from being in the MLB..would be a nice replacement for Iguchi

The thing is who are we giving up to get him? There is no way we can afford Matsui, Pauly, and given raisies to Garland, AJ, Crede, pods... I think Matsui is a pipe dream, I do agree with someone in here that said that kind of wait and see for 06, we are going to overpay for Matsui.. Unless he give us a discount as Pauly needs to.

As much as the board going to raz me.. I would love to have that as the 3-4 combo, As much as I love Thomas, he really is only a DH, Matsui can sub for an OF gicing someone a day off allows to take either another P or INF, just allows more flexiable for ozzie.

ok where does Pods play then? Only way I see this working is we have to trade Rowand as well to move Pods back to CF, Matsui to LF.. granted we get an upgrade in offense.. But a huge downgrade in def.. and I don't see Ozzie wanting that.
