  1. I got caught in the Northridge,Cali one. It scared the s*** out of me.I could see it rattling a few players. Its one of those things that makes you think.
  2. They didnt look that lost up there. They even put some wood on the ball.
  3. No way I trade Carl! First of all Im not convinced that frank is back yet. Once he starts hitting the ball to right field,{Kong you can try this too}and can hit the pitch on the outside corner, then we know hes back. Carl also has that dont f*** with me or this team look on his face and I love that! He is a gamer and has always given it his all. Also once we trade him, someone will get hurt.
  4. I like the starting pitching and have more than ample outfielders! Plus what would I do if Alou tossed me a ball in the stands after the 3rd out? Do I catch the piss ball or let it go?
  5. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 02:55 PM) Dan Pasqua He could smoke it up though!
  6. Nevin's must have pics of the umps. He yelled at on Fri night did'nt get thrown out.Sat argued balls and strikes and didnt get throw out!
  7. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 10:26 PM) Holy f***ing s*** Dye. He needs to come up throwing there. He took his f***ing time, and didn't even expect the guy to be going to 3rd base. That too!
  8. I am still waiting for that great arm in right! :banghead
  9. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 10:16 PM) Don't complain, PK. If you weren't the fattest, slowest piece of s*** on the bases, you'd have been in there easy. WOW! :headshake
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 09:48 PM) Gotta let Buehrle hit in this situation. He'll probably be bunting to get Crede into scoring position. I agree! He put wood on the ball twice now!
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) Interesting though that we intentionally walk the go-ahead run. That was a tough call for Ozzie, let's hope it was the right call. I also thought it was a tough call for their manager to lift the pitcher, for a 150+ hitter. My wife asked if he took advice from Ozzie!
  12. Lets hope this has been the problem, and he will back in a few days!
  13. Do you think Carl is got his eye on that Purple Dino behind home plate?
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 8, 2005 -> 08:11 PM) Remember when Konerko used to go the opposite way to hit a liner? If this is the way he's going to continue to swing for his career, I hope that we don't even consider resigning him. He is now a homerun hitter and I agree with you!
  15. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 09:56 PM) After the season last year, the sox leaked that Timo played all season with hamstring issue... Regardless of whether you buy that bulls***, it tells you all you need to know about what the Sox organization thinks of Timo and Ross... Timo is allowed to be on the roster and play the OF while hurt. And when he's healthy they even let him play out of position. Ross isn't allowed anywhere near the roster, let alone the OF (where I think most of us want to keep him away from anyway) while he's injured. Sound like last year with Kelly Wunch.
  16. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 7, 2005 -> 10:57 AM) Maybe he should of pinch hit Frank last night instead of his Fluffer. Doublespeak from Ozzie. he wants AB's for Frank but in the first instance he can pinch hit he puts his girlfriend in the game. He will have at least 1 AB a night to pinch hit Frank to keep him going. As long as Ozze keeps it in his pants and doesnt worry about his girlfriend getting upset. If Timo was big and red..... I was thinking the same thing last night!
  17. QUOTE(TheDybber @ Jun 5, 2005 -> 10:38 PM) If the Go Go chant doesn't start back up, maybe you can be the next Andy the Clown? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH GO! WHITE!! SOX!!! I miss Andy!
  18. QUOTE(wilmot825 @ Jun 6, 2005 -> 09:02 PM) Fairwheater fans.....The Sox are in first...thats why people are cheering....not because they are REAl Sox fans. I see a lot of Sox hats,T-shirt and jerseys there! They must have got them at the fair weather store.
  19. QUOTE(sayitanitso @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 07:51 PM) Did Kong ever wear high socks? I remember a few years ago he did a commerical for ESPN and his socks were high. I don't know if he wore them like that in a game, i just remember that commercial with his socks like that. Kong had them high all the time. I love the look! OLD SCHOOL!!!!!
  20. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 4, 2005 -> 10:54 AM) Me don't like that he won't be playing OF. Oh well, we need that bat anyway. His outfield play is like Timos first base play! Can he play third?
