I Love New York
All MTV reality shows are fraud. Those dating shows, after the first go around its not bad, then the same people come back, unless these people are that desperate. I think they pay people to do this stuff, just what I think.

2007 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 26, 2007 -> 10:43 PM) Matt Capps of the Pirates is single handedly winning me holds every week. ERA well under 1 right now, has been dominating, and meanwhile the beloved Pirates have won 4 in a row and moved into 2nd behind the Brew Crew in the NL Central. Might be a closer soon so keep on the lookout for other holds guys. Like Manny Corpas/Shields. Speaking of closers, Jason Frasor who I pick up for a day gives up 3 runs in span of an out and almost made me lose a matchup. Hoffman is blowing like every other save.

QUOTE(tealeafreaderii @ Apr 29, 2007 -> 11:19 PM) If Armondo gets himself hurt... there is a chance they might make him close. Yeah, thats what my brother said whos a big Giants fan, um dont ask lol. I keep hearing he gets the call in June. Right now Russ Ortiz isnt doing too hot but they are managing to win games he pitches in so we might not see Tim for a while.

Official 2007 NFL Draft Thread
Just kind of scavaging the web after that Ramzee Robinson (Irrelevant Pick), was wondering who was one of the best of the bunch ever taken last in the draft. Mr. Irrelevant History Only name I recognize that has made a start in NFL is the Bears Mike Green. Im sure others had but I just found it interesting.

Garrett Wolfe, NIU, Chicago Bears
QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Apr 29, 2007 -> 05:39 PM) He did have 171 rushing and 114 yards receiving = 285 total yards against Ohio State... but they weren't any good last year, though. The same things were said about Michael Turner, and all he has done is dominate as a backup at San Diego and garner interest from multiple teams to be their top back... You cant compare Turner and Wolfe though, Turner is more of an NFL size back, Wolfe is really small, 5-7 which is even smaller than Dunn and 20 pounds lighter. Hes gonna need to bulk up, could have some durability issues. Im guessing Bears use him more as an outside runner and also passing to him on flats.

Randy Moss to New England
So they got Randy and gave up a 4th rounder. Thats not too bad. Great move by the Patriots. Moss and Stallworth is not going to be fun to stop, both exceptional when going for the deep ball, and then they have Welker running routes in the middle of the field. Love this move. Their defense gets better with Thomas too. Slot them for a superbowl spot. Lets not forget that Darrell Jackson was traded to the 49ers, they really needed a WR. Hes a good fit for them lets just hope he catches the ball for them, hes always been known to make some key drops.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 03:19 PM) No way did they see this coming with Quinn. They get credit for jumping on the opportunity, but they could not have seen this coming. I never said they saw this coming.

Griffins a good safety, you shouldnt be disapointed, and the way the receivers are going one could land to you in round two.

QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 01:22 PM) Rodgers getting kind of long-in-the-tooth as a backup. Could they pick up Quinn and swing Rodgers for Moss? Idk if the Raiders would do that since they drafted Russell. Rodgers is prolly no better than Walter if they were to swap for Moss. But Aaron hasnt played enough to determine this. I could see us taking Quinn, they did it with Rodgers. I even thought before the year wouldnt it be ironic if Quinn ended up on the same team as AJ Hawk. NO!!!!! I hate you Buffalo.

I bet the lions would be thrilled if Quinn landed to them even though there has been rumors they like Beck from BYU. Another player reppin the white sox. Excellent pick for 49ers here.

Nice pick for Houston. Houston is putting together a good young defense, Mario, Dunta, Ryans, Okoye figuring he is a solid player. Plugged a big hole.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 12:58 PM) Buffalo would make sense, but you have to think they need to fill holes on the D side. I could see Carolina, but what about the addition of Carr? Good point, yeah forgot bout Carr, yeah they wont take Quinn. I guess I could see my Packers taking him as insurance but as far as I know they still like Rodgers as the backup. And RB/TE is a bigger need.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 12:54 PM) I think one of the USC receivers will be a Bear. Holy s***...Ginn...WOW. Is Quinn now headed to Buffalo maybe? I could see Carolina taking him cause Delhomme is crap. Yeah I guess Carolina/Buffalo might be the next best bets for him. Other than that he might just go 2nd round.
