  1. I don't have a problem with it but it's the Reinsdorf way. He probably saved some money on his car insurance resigning Ozzie this early.
  2. Bruce, when is that Willie Harris for Wes Helms trade going through?
  3. Maybe this is why they cut Edinger... http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...ack=1&cset=true
  4. Once again, you continue to assume that a team would have agreed to a specific trade without knowing for sure. You are just a regular Bruce Levine, aren't you? Did you also predict that Willie Harris for Wes Helms trade?
  5. I just heard it. That was hilarious.
  6. So there's "almost ZERO difference" between facing a DH like David Ortiz or a pinch-hitter like Todd Hollandsworth? Wow.
  7. I never said that he was NEVER good. I just don't think he's THAT good anymore. I also don't think that he was ever the dominating closer that you make him out to be. Dominating closers don't have a 3.95 ERA in the N.L. It's a shame that you have a problem responding to my posts just because I disagree with you.
  8. He saved 40 games with a 3.95 ERA in the N.L. That's not necessarily good, that's a lot of luck.
  9. Yep, I'm hoping they get Preston Wilson and Shawn Chacon. That would be great.
  10. Or his arm could be injured... http://www.daytondailynews.com/search/cont...y/0523reds.html
  11. I hope to hell not. His fastball is down to 86 - 87 mph. He's basically Shingo without the frisbee. And that's why his ERA is 7.36.
  12. By definition, what Uribe did WAS deception. Need a dictionary?
  13. Back-peddling? You have no clue whether or not the Orioles would have even made that trade so why act like it was a possibility? By the way, I don't recall bashing Brian Roberts like that. Could you find my post and refresh my memory? Keep this in mind... Had we signed Orlando Cabrera for $32 million dollars, our team would suck right now because we wouldn't have had any money left to sign anyone else. I for one am glad that Kenny didn't listen to you. :headshake
  14. And we all know that the Orioles wanted to make that trade, right? GMAFB. :rolly The Orioles traded Jerry Hairston to the Flubs for Sosa so Brian Roberts was going to be their starting 2nd baseman. They weren't going to trade Roberts.
  15. And we all know... "There's no lying in baseball!"
  16. It's also bush league when a pitcher does the fake to 3rd base, throw to 1st base move. :rolly
  17. I said it was a "ridiculous comparison." And yes, it is a bad comparison. A-Rod PHYSICALLY INTERFERED with Bronson Arroyo trying to make the tag. Uribe was completely out of the way and yelled something at Derek Lee. GMAFB, that's a HUGE difference. But thanks for personally attacking me because I disagree with your perspective.
  18. That's a ridiculous comparison. A-Rod actually PHYSICALLY interfered with a play. Uribe was not in Derek Lee's way or anything like that. He only yelled something at him. It is Lee's job to look for his 3rd base coach on whether to run or not. Besides, there were 2 outs. Lee should have been running regardless. :headshake
  19. Maybe his arm is injured... http://www.daytondailynews.com/search/cont...y/0523reds.html Graves is even more worthless as a closer than Shingo if he's only throwing 86 - 87 mph. :puke Shingo can throw that hard and he at least has the frisbee. Graves must have "Billy Koch" syndrome.
  20. I don't really consider Hermanson a "dominating" closer because he doesn't strike out enough guys.
  21. "Reds promote LHP Randy Keisler RHP Danny Graves designated for assignment" http://cincinnati.reds.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/...t=.jsp&c_id=cin I could see the Flubs trying to sign Graves if no team claims him and he becomes a free agent.
  22. Danny Graves is now available.
