LaChoke is making $3.5 million this season while Shingo is making $2.5 million. LaChoke is still not worth that extra $1 million over Shingo IMO.
-
LaChoke for Marte? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
-
Doh, sorry your right. I would make the trade but I don't think the Flubs would.
-
I just heard a replay of Ron Santo's "OHHH NOOOOOO!!!" after LaChoke's throw to 1st base on WGN 720. HAHA! Classic. And Pat Hughes said, "The nightmare continues for the time being..."
-
Derek Lee just shook his head after the bad throw by LaChoke. He was disgusted that he gave the Flubs a chance to win the game with his clutch 2-run homer, only for LaChoke to strike again.
-
GAME OVER!!! FLUBS LOSE!!! THE BOO-BIRDS ARE OUT IN FULL FORCE!!! And WGN mutes the crowds' booing.
-
2 outs, Michael Barrett in to pinch-hit.
-
HAHA! Busty Baker's reaction was classic. He is all excited when he see LaChoke catch the line-shot. Then he sees the throw to 1st base and slumps back down in his seat.
-
They are booing LaChoke HARDCORE! I can't believe I just saw that. If he doesn't throw the ball 100 MPH to 1st base he just needs 1 more out to end the inning. Did you guys see him looking around at all the bases for somewhere to throw the ball? MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
-
OMFG, line-drive shot right to LaChoke. He catches it and throws it to 1st quickly for a DP and overthrows Lee! 2 runs score! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
-
Wow, Jose Awfulman walks. Bases loaded for Placido Polanco with 1 out. Hopefully, LaChoke Hawkins will strike again.
-
Unbelievable. The Phillies get runners on 1st and 2nd base with no outs and they don't bunt to move the runners over. Instead, Ryan Howard strikes out. Now, Charlie Manuel puts in Jose Awfulman to pinch hit.
-
With the Phillies leading 1-0 over the Flubs in the bottom of the 8th inning, the Cubs had a runner at 3rd base with 2 outs and Derek Lee up. Charlie Manuel decides to bring in his left-handed closer Billy Wagner to face Derek Lee instead of intentionally walking him. Derek Lee hits a 2-run homerun to take the lead. Charlie Manuel is as stupid as Busty Baker.

"Somehow, sizzling Sox getting the job done" May 6, 2005 http://www.suntimes.com/output/mariotti/cst-spt-jay06.html I love how he bashes the Sox for beating weak teams considering his Flubs just lost a series to the Astros and got swept by the Brewers. :headshake This tool needs a beating.

To access the firmware of your router so you can use port forwarding, you have to type the following addresses into your web browser (or you can click one below that I have provided)... For NETGEAR routers: http://192.168.0.1 For LINKSYS routers: http://192.168.1.1 I have used both NETGEAR and LINKSYS routers and they both have a section for port forwarding. If yours doesn't, you probably need to update your router's firmware. You can find the latest firmware update for your router at its manufacturer's website. By the way, for Azureus and/or Bit Torrent you want to open ports 6881 through 6999. This will give you faster download speeds.

Ummm, how long did we really even have Magg$ last season? The Carlos Lee argument is valid, although he is currently hitting .232 for the Brewers.
-
Frank will give our offense the biggest boost we could hope to imagine come next month or so. If we can get away with Everett in RF or put him LF with Pods in CF and Rowand in RF, our lineup will be alot better... LF Podsednik 2B Iguchi RF Everett DH Frank 1B Konerko CF Rowand C Pierzynski 3B Crede SS Uribe Another closer that will likely be available at the deadline is Eddie Guardado if Seattle falls out of contention.
-
The ultimate answer that would make you happy qwerty: Trade Crede + prospects for Eric Chavez, trade Konerko to dump salary, and start Gload at 1st base.
-
Beane chose poorly. He should have kept Tejada and built his team around him. I think everyone realizes this, including Beane, but no one will admit it because people want to view Beane as infallible. Here is a completely unrelated A's trade rumor though... http://oakland.athletics.mlb.com/NASApp/ml...t=.jsp&c_id=oak

Check out this nastiness... http://sports.yahoo.com/mlbpa/players/7043...r&type=Pitching Jose Contreras vs. Tampa Bay Devil Rays (career stats) 4 starts 3-0 record 1.57 ERA 0.91 WHIP .173 BAA 28.2 IP 18 H 6 R 5 ER 1 HR 8 BB 19 SO

They don't have Vizquel and Lawton to get on base at the top of the order. Jody Gerut and Juan-Gone are on the DL. Also, Coco Crisp isn't hitting like he did last season. This season, he has only killed us. Oh yeah, and Aaron Boone SUCKS.

Not according to this year's stats... MLB Team Stats: 2005 http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/stats/aggreg...t=0&season=2005 The Indians are ranked last (30th) in team AVG (.227) and 29th in team OBP (.293). This is why I said that Contreras' two starts against the Indians last season were more impressive. The Indians had the top ranked offense in the MLB at the time.
-
Contreras' best starts for the Sox were arguably the two games he pitched against the Indians last season when they had the #1 ranked offense in the MLB.
