The ABC Channel 7 sports segment showed Konerko and the Sox filming a new commercial. Paulie was being filmed swinging at the plate at the Cell. They interviewed Konerko and he joked that they had to hire more actors for the commercial because of all the injuries the Sox currently have.

DOH!!! Qwerty hasn't been saying much about Chandler's play so far but in Tyson's defense, he hasn't played very many minutes.

I think Willie has the range to play SS but his glove is shaky on line shots and his arm is weak. That's why seeing him at SS is so scary.

He originally played SS but had shoulder surgery in 2000 and his arm became weak because of it. Supposedly, his arm is too weak to play SS now.

ESPN 1000 reported that Iguchi worked out with the rest of the players today. They seemed to think that he should be healthy enough to start at 2nd base tomorrow. Good news at last.

Yep, the Flubs traded Dontrelle Willis and Julian Tavarez for Clement and Alfonseca. Clement was a good pitcher for them but they no longer have him. Alfonseca was a huge bust. Meanwhile, Dontrelle is lighting it up for the Marlins and making peanuts.

He's not great but Jamie Moyer is one, even though his best years came much later in his career. Also, even though it wasn't a trade they let Maddux get away and missed out on his best years.

Did anyone hear about Wizards' coach Eddie Jordan blaming the crowd noise for Hinrich lighting up his team? I guess the crowd noise must have affected his players' eyes so they could not see Hinrich well enough to guard him. Pitiful. :rolly

Angel Guzman is just going to be Carrie Woods Part 2 -- no control and injury-prone. The guy can't even stay healthy in the minors. B-Mac is a better prospect than Guzman right now. He has great control and can stay healthy.
