I just wanna know how bad Pistons' fans feel about their team drafting Milicic over guys like Carmelo and Wade. :headshake Yep, that's the way I remember it.

So qwerty, you want Pax to dump Curry, sign Shareef Abdur-Rahim, and use Chandler at center? Just curious.

Ahhh, if only we could combine Curry and Chandler into one awesome player. Where did you hear this? I'd love to get Donyell back. He's a great shooter and he's clutch.

I never flip flopped but is there anything wrong with liking Carlos for his bat but disliking him for his attitude?

Patterson looked like A ball hitter
The guy has had players like Barry Bonds, Jason Schmidt, and Rob Nen. He doesn't have those guys on the Cubs. But I still don't understand why Baker is so overrated as a manager.

Offman actually said that Borchard has a shot at making our roster? Come on...

And the Cubune gets a shot in at the Sox big offensive day... I guess those 32 mph wind gusts only helped the Sox and not the Brewers. :rolly

It sure seems like it to me. He is turning into Maggs Part 2. Does anyone think Marte actually hit Carlos intentionally? All I've heard all spring is how they want Marte to go inside on righties so he doesn't struggle with them like he did last season. As a result, occasionally he is going to hit some batters.

This quote makes me laugh... Yes Carlos, Podsednik ran on that sac fly attempt by Willie because the Sox wanted to mess around with you, not because they wanted to score the run. :rolly Carlos sure has a big ego. :headshake

There's a nice ESPN article on Orlando Cabrera for Anthrax... "Changing places, not positions" http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/stor...alan&id=2014780

We overpaid El Duque (3.96 career ERA in the A.L.) even though Clement (4.34 career ERA in the N.L.) got $25.5 million? When El Duque is healthy, he's a better pitcher than Clement. And by all reports, he is healthy.

I haven't seen qwerty worship Kenny in every thread but THIS I have seen. Anthrax tries to get a Kenny bash in on every thread.

Both were overpayed. 4-years, $32 million for Cabrera and 4-years, $40 million for Renteria. The difference is that Renteria's deal was far better.

Wow, I haven't been here very long but I never see any posts where qwerty thinks Kenny is the best GM ever. I could be wrong though.

So who was the best free agent SS in FA, in your opinion?

White Sox @ Brewers Game Thread
Cabrera's glove had better be great because that's all he's got going for him... .268 career AVG .316 career OBP (His numbers last season were even lower than his career numbers) I will take Uribe's glove and power in a hitter's park over what Cabrera would bring to the table. You overrate Cabrera BIG-TIME. Are you seriously going to say that Cabrera was a better free agent SS than Renteria and Nomar? :rolly

White Sox @ Brewers Game Thread
Agreed, but is Uribe's glove chopped liver? No, it's not. His gun is amazing as well.

Is it bad that instead of overpaying a guy like Orlando Cabrera that we instead moved Uribe to SS, his natural position? Not to mention the fact that Uribe's numbers blew away Cabrera's from last season. Agreed. That would make sense. Try to move Konerko at the deadline and trade prospects for Overbay. They obviously aren't going to need him with Fielder being just about ready.
