Ozzie lucked out with Timo. Timo has been hitting so s***ty that being under the Mendoza Line probably helped him. He was due for a hit sooner or later.

Good news... Per Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Frank said he just strained his hip a little due to being a overexcited and running extra hard during the game. He says he wanted to come out of the game because he didn't want to aggravate it and put him out on the DL for another 2 weeks. Other than that, he said he feels fine and he'll just see how he feels for tomorrow's game but he won't be out for any extended period of time.

That Widger AB was disappointing but I can't really be mad at him. He has been one of our best hitters, in limited AB's of course.

Did not know that. The pinch-hitting Timo for Frank and Everett for Iguchi was still a mistake. Everett should have pinch-hit for Frank and Iguchi should have never been pinch-hit for. Ozzie got lucky that Timo finally pulled a hit out of his ass after hitting below the Mendoza line for most of the season.

1.) Everett should have pinch-hit for Frank instead of Timo when Frank got hurt. Iguchi should have batted in the bottom of the 9th instead of being pinch-hit for by Everett. Iguchi is currently our team's best hitter. Error or not, he needs to be hitting. 2.) Once Buehrle gave up a hit in the 9th inning, he should have been immediately pulled for our closer, Dustin Hermanson.

So once again, you dislike Frank because of his contract dispute but like a guy (Bobby Jenks) who burned his own pitching arm with a lighter? To each his own, I guess.

That 9th inning was the worst handling of pitchers I have ever seen. My dad agreed with me. I won't rip on Ozzie for letting Buehrle try to finish the game. He had been pitching great and his pitch count wasn't too high (92, I believe). But after Buehrle gave up the first hit, he should have been immediately pulled for Hermanson.

Kaz's defense sucks, his contract sucks, well, Kaz just sucks period. I don't know why anyone would ever suggest this. Worst... idea... EVAR!
