  1. If I have one criticism, it's that he did these moves too closely together and thus hurt our so talk discussion spacing.
  2. Damn, did not expect to see this.
  3. What a beautiful game. All of our western conference games last week have been fun.
  4. Shocker, Aldridge starts off 6-7 with 13 points. We are 5 minutes in.
  5. This Kroner report is the nail in Trestmans coffin.what an embarrassment
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 11, 2014 -> 11:02 PM) I think we are getting close to going on a nice run. Say a win 12 of the next 15/16 type of run. I hope so. Every time I see our record I think "we've lost 8 times?" and remember those terrible boston/pacer games.
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 11, 2014 -> 10:55 PM) I only get national games (decided not to buy package this year since so many games are nationally televised). Looking forward to catching Friday. I never watch live...always on tape delay so stay away from all sites on gamenight. Obviously had a shaky first half but Rose apparently led back the 1st half charge and than Taj / Pau dominated 2nd half. Thing I liked was Rose seemed to be consistently in the paint. Key is to stay on the court for him...more games he strings together, better condition he gets in, better timing, more confidence, etc. I mean, at this point, you can just bank that if it's a game at home, it will be the bulls down like 10-2 or 12-4 within the first minute before adjusting.
  8. Eh, f*** best buy. I hate when corps try to advertise by adding a stupid comment for a trending topic.
  9. QUOTE (southside hitman @ Dec 11, 2014 -> 11:33 PM) Lefties his him hard and his WHIP is very high for his ERA. And we are putting him in front of a not so good defense.
  10. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 11, 2014 -> 10:50 PM) I only saw highlights last night but surprise more people weren't talking about Rose. Saw quite a few aggressive moves during the highlights. Ha, it was the one game I think I've missed. Was nice they had that 4 day rest for him/Taj. Now, granted Lopez was out, but apparently Gasol/Taj looked great.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 11, 2014 -> 06:22 PM) Charlotte... waivers. Who cares. After last year, having some warm bodies who could come up and HOLD THEIR OWn rather than give up 10 runs in an inning is an addition. #hotsportstakes
  12. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 11, 2014 -> 01:04 AM) It doesn't matter in the sense that it's right or wrong, but again this idea of the effects of it don't make sense when your dealing with groups of terrorists, not a sovereign nation with an army. I don't really care about torture in the aspect of how it will affect how terrorists treat us. I also don't care think the response to torture reports are more important to comment on than the torture itself. The problem with torture is torture itself.
  13. Looks better, but didn't think Downs/belli/cleto would be so terrible first two months last year
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 11, 2014 -> 02:52 PM) So you are saying she's an even worse liar than the story makes it seem He's saying quotes aren't necessary anymore.
  15. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 10, 2014 -> 11:07 PM) Um, because you die painfully and definitively, whereas with rectal feeding you probably won't? I'm gonna go with life 99% of the time. Look, again, i'm not excusing anything here. I'll i'm saying is when you read some responses it's as if the American CIA committed an atrocity akin to the Holocaust. It was terrible, immoral, unethical, unjustified, unacceptable and flat out wrong. No question. It was not the worst crime in the world, however. And there are people that are concerned that terrorists will be motivated even more by this, as if terrorists who are already beyond this point morally by beheading random, innocent people, aren't already at an incredibly hateful/immoral place. It's like complaining about throwing a can of gas on a 5 alarm fire. As long as something isn't the holocaust, no wrong is done. Good to know. Hey ISIS is bad, but they aren't Nazi bad, so why are we complaining?
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 10, 2014 -> 10:38 PM) For all the hype that the Samardzija trade received, I really feel like Robertson will have the biggest actual impact on the team. I know we've talked about the blown saves from last year, but it really seems like there were a significant number of 2 and 3 run leads blown from the 8th inning on. Hopefully Robertson can turn those blown games into wins. I agree, I think it was partly that the Samardzija thread took both comments. I'm so glad we have a closer.
  17. Why is torture justified for CIA when it is not justified for our military? You don't establish your morals on a relative basis, well, they behead so we can rectal feed. Good work.
  18. The ineptitude and amateurishness to which we deployed, as we heard at the time, this extreme interrogation for only the most wanted suspects, across a seemingly random swath of 123 people, should make anyone pause if this can ever be done right while still secretive.
  19. The thing is, they had that response ready regardless of the report. The report is so huge and details so much incompetence, but its' so huge, that they'll muddy the waters with "it kept us safe" regardless of direct contradictions that it did not, and since it feels like torture is awesome because 24 and zero dark 30 and every f***ing show, people will go back to the argument of OH YEAH AND IF A GUY HAS KNOWLEDGE OF AN ATTACK WE CAN'T BREATHE ON EM OH YOU LIBERALS OH
  20. Damn, I had Tigers written down. I think I was mixing up the time the bear strolls through springfield and they start a bear watch.
