That was one pitchers duel you could enjoy.hard to watch kluber pitch like that and think the hitters stink. Great defensive plays all around. Attaboy Carlos!!!

QUOTE (staxx @ May 18, 2015 -> 06:32 PM) Wasn't a fan of the last scene, they could have done a lot better. Thought it was a mediocre episode at best, probably one of the worst for me in GOT Same. Top to bottom bad, I've thought season otherwise has been very strong.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 18, 2015 -> 12:19 PM) Kind of what Kobe did in 2010. f*** this, you guys dont need me? Fine, you go ahead and do it. Whatever happened in that game, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to conclude that the team went totally dysfunctional. Whatever the reasons are, they are not acceptable. I don't buy it. Team has looked equally inept for multiple stretches in season.

So just to clarify, that article is saying that Rose is proving that he doesn't get along with other scorers by distributing the ball to the other player TOO much, because he knew they'd fail or something.

That said last nights episode was horrible. - House of Black and White was intriguing the way they introduced it, but those were boring scenes. - Jamie/Bron - that was so hamfisted it was ridiculous. So, they are doing a solo very dangerous mission into enemy territory where they cannot get caught, and their plan was to walk right up to her and show their face to the prince and say "hey come with us it's important!". The whole sand snakes usage was terrible, they may as well have not included them as they did not have time for them. - That last scene was absurd to put on. Horrible and pointless.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 18, 2015 -> 08:04 AM) Lots of people are up in arms about that scene last night. They clearly don't know how GRRM wrote that scene in the books, which is so much worse. That being said, last night's episode was basically completely made up. Not that it was a bad episode, but they really are off on their own now. I am no longer expecting anything I want to happen from the books to actually happen anymore. Mereen is just a huge plot wasteland in the book, they had to do something to speed things up for the series. Dany's plot line is boring as hell even as it is right now.

Glad we are gathering great intelligence from Cleveland.com comments.

I'm so thrilled we went on a streak, but can't help but be bummed that after 2.5 weeks of really good baseball we are only at .500. I really want this to keep going so that .500 isn't the ghost we are chasing all season after a terrible start.

QUOTE (Jerksticks @ May 17, 2015 -> 06:28 PM) Well said. I have mlb.tv so I watch a lot of other broadcasts when the Sox aren't on. These were by far the best 3 games i've heard announced by far, no homer talking either. The insight these two had was incredible with respect to approach at the plate. When you watch other teams' guys you always get the announcer voice blabbing out stats. Stats? Really? Stats? Playoffs? Practice? Stats? Lol we can all read the stats on the screen chip carey. Thanks bub. Len kasper, thanks for not talking about anything baseball related etc. This is why I defend farmer and DJ a lot. They have a lot of fluff, but they have some excellent pitch sequence commentary which we do not get on our tv team often.

So nice to see a home run. You really miss that power when you see how hard it can be to score runs with this team with men on. Man, the As defense is horrible.

They are dancing the Macarena and loving it

What a blast. Watching with sound off and didn't know it was crushed just trying to watch the centerfield.

Not trying to rag on Micah because I hope he makes it up here eventually, but I don't think we win this series without Carlos/boni at 2b

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 17, 2015 -> 03:40 PM) His ceiling IMO is solid starter. I can easily see him having a 10 year career with 15-25 war. His glove will play. If he can hit 270/300/380, in today's game that's a fine 2B. I am not banking on his future, but he's first sox prospect tO hit his way up in a long time.

Good god we cannot get lift ever with men on third less than 2 outs

CARLOS! Pretty good for a utility ceiling

Oh well. Still got a run.

Get it in the air Avi.

Wow. What a start

That was incredible!

I'm also glad his bizarre defensive drop off seems over

Most surprised to see Adams as reliever and Danish as starter.

So relieved this team performed against a weak schedule. Would love to get to .500

QUOTE (scs787 @ May 15, 2015 -> 04:48 PM) He's got a bad track record, but he's also had some bad teams. I like that he's coached under Dantoni and Kerr, so I'm assuming he would emplement a faster pace, which is what I really want to see them do. Reading LMA and Wes Matthews wanna be a package deal. Somehow trade Noah and Taj, sign those 2 guys, end scene. I liked what he did for the Suns teams until they became terrible. I wonder how he'll deal with the anti-suns training staff.

Really happy to be pulling people from DEN/BAL for scouting talent more than NO.
