QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 22, 2014 -> 01:08 PM) That beat down reminded me of game 1 of the 2010 WC Semi-finals. Some dumb ass next to me in the upper deck was so doom and gloom just b****ing, "This is why there are no more banners in the rafters, this franchise can't handle prosperity, this series is over, they suck". If I saw him again I would have poured a beer on his head. Hahaha

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 21, 2014 -> 08:04 PM) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, May 21, 2014 CHICAGO – To welcome ace Chris Sale back to the mound at U.S. Cellular Field this Thursday evening vs. the New York Yankees, and due to popular demand, the Chicago White Sox have expanded the “K Zone For Sale” to include Section 155 for all future Chris Sale starts. “K Zone For Sale” is a new ballpark promotion this season in sections 154 and 155 – for a total of more than 930 seats. When White Sox ace Chris Sale starts at home, fans with tickets in these sections will receive a free K-Zone t-shirt and strikeout card, which can be picked up at the #SoxSocial Lounge before the end of the first inning. “K Zone For Sale” tickets are $20 for most games, with the exception of Family Sundays, when the tickets are $15 (subject to availability). Tickets to White Sox games are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office and through Ticketmaster. Did these sell out? I can't find these anywhere. I feel a lot less stupid that I didn't know about the Kzone until 2 weeks ago when someone said they were all over the site.

wait. so Sale is starting tomorrow?

That means he's better than Tanaka right?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 21, 2014 -> 08:06 PM) I didn't even know they still made baseball cards. What do you use? The internet? THE INTERNET IS A GIMMICK.

Would love to see if Konerko could beat him on speed when laced up. edit: if I wasn't familiar with sports this would seem like drug slang.

I'd be happy to see Adam back. At this point I'm kind of done with the commodification of our players and just want to get back to enjoying them play.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 21, 2014 -> 01:11 PM) This is baseball and that stuff happens. It's not that big of a deal. Meh, my Royal fan friends are pretty down. After all these years of losing and finally this is supposed to be their year and they come out of the gates pretty low.

I've been getting really confused now that Charlotte is the Hornets again. I was about to write a long post about how much better New Orleans would be with 2 lottery picks and Noel, but then realized they are the pelicans, and this went to the bob cats...and it's like playing madden 5 years into a franchise where no team is in same city and all names have changed.

YES

I thought beck ham got his arm but he didn't touch him til his ribs.

Mother f***er said safe before he was on bag!

Gulp.

Ugh. Wake me when it's over.

Terrible day behind plate for flowers

It was more the lack of bullpen warming up I was upset about. But Putnam warmed up very quickly. I thought he was going to leave frank in there forever like he has in and Few games.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 21, 2014 -> 04:14 AM) With you on this. Different regimes entirely. Also, can someone link me to the latest LeBron flop? I'll use my words. My favorite was a lebron drive where west cut over, got 90% ball on an attempted block and that was the only contact, and tried to then hold lebron up after contact. lebron still flung out like he had been shot.

My bad everyone.

Well I jinxed the s*** out of that.

I love Adam at bats

Great effing play.

Pacers give up running any sort of offense.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 21, 2014 -> 03:56 AM) Doesn't he have to manage like the game will go at least 14 innings? He was criticized for yanking pitchers earlier this year. No. He has to manage this one.

Good lord.
