  1. PArt of it is Bears actually rotated out Peppers to keep him fresh. We don't have that luxury this year. Not signing Izzy was a huge mistake. I'm afraid we may have to use a draft pick to get a DT in a trade b/c I don't want to waste this year. One silver lining : Bears have 1 game in next 24 days. Time to get healthy, time for offense to get real comfortable, and time to find a Dtackle worth a damn.
  2. Embarrassing. Our best hope is they score now. Will be another 30 pt game given up by terrible d.
  3. This game smells funny.
  4. This is the worst bears d of my lifetime. Easy.
  5. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 10, 2013 -> 09:04 PM) I completely disagree. It DOES affect you when you are having to play this now super team, or this super team is in your division and it's a reason you get booted out of the playoffs. It's not fair to have 2 teams working together with twice the amount of draft picks and players available. That's collusion though.
  6. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 10, 2013 -> 08:40 PM) I'm starting to get really down about this. I never thought this had the possibility of lasting this long. This short-term debt ceiling increase was bad news for the shut down.
  7. Very annoying day for me when blues beat hawks and cardinals advance. On twitter anyway.
  8. I was so excited for Burris because he was mobile and everyone thought they could find a franchise qb in the arena or cfl or xfl leagues.
  9. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Oct 10, 2013 -> 04:37 AM) There could easily be enough votes in the Senate to pass any of the temp funding bills the House has passed, but we'll never know since Reid won't let them come for a vote. Why do you not see that also? What? No there isn't.
  10. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 10, 2013 -> 05:38 AM) I've always wondered about that. Also the 4.1 to 4.2 to 4.3 changes are not that big. I just went from 4.1 to 4.3, and the real most user-facing changes were changes to Sense and not so much related to 4.3 Right, and I don't use the sense interface so I don't care. I do like the settings moved into the notifications.
  11. Fair enough, I was thinking more of a tap room.
  12. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 9, 2013 -> 08:33 PM) Can't you just disable NFC in your settings? I did do that and it removed it. I just had no idea what the symbol was referring to to turn off.
  13. Sigh, HTC.
  14. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 9, 2013 -> 06:58 PM) This one is a bit closer to home than I'd prefer, not just in location, but I happen to know the parents personally. I just ... have nothing. That's awful, heart goes out to them.
  15. That is absolutely disgusting and insane.
  16. Giving away what they sell? Tasting rooms aren't free.
  17. Sigh, sprint.
  18. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 9, 2013 -> 05:30 PM) Without the facts I cant really comment. But I have to presume that the infection did more than just cost the person 4 weeks of work. Otherwise that seems odd. Well I'm sure some of it could be pain and suffering. MRSA staff infections are extremely painful (if it was that), VRSA is worse.
  19. downloaded jelly bean 4.3. What the hell is this N symbol ? Anyone? Next to my phone noise settings?
  20. Why the hell should a tasting room need a permit from the federal gov't? How about republicans pass CR in exchange for making less stupid alcohol regulations on books (like wine across state lines).
  21. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Oct 9, 2013 -> 06:52 AM) bananas Thank you. Thank you.
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 8, 2013 -> 08:49 PM) I had one of these. It was revolutionary for me personally, but the iPod just destroys it in terms of what it brought to the masses as well as tight integration with software. I was gonna say the CD MP3 player was unbelievable to me before I saw that picture was of those. Apple brought design consideration to the world. You see that everywhere now. They are not what they once were but no need to re-write what they brought to the table. Design is a big deal now for google, microsoft, etc. Before it was an afterthought.
  23. Taking things to mass market is a lot more revolutionary than just creating something nobody uses.
  24. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 8, 2013 -> 06:28 PM) Oh yeah it's not until I'm actually in the message box that I'm talking about. Even so I'm going to try this and post back what I wrote.
  25. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 8, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) Ya, one of my old roommates(who is a huge grantland fan actually) is all about going for it basically every time. And every time someone gets stuffed it's "well it was a bad play call." I definitely get the odds, and I'm in favor of going for it a majority of the time, but there's definitely times to kick the field goal. Well, the caveat is "if your team is great in short yardage". Jags? Probably not. Panthers? Yes. Saints? Yes.
