  7. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 24, 2006 -> 05:50 AM) David Of the same country hahaha
  8. well it seems that other teams seem to have higher standards for their talent than we do
  9. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Dec 24, 2006 -> 05:38 AM) Found a pic of the mystery man... translated.... can someone translate that translation?
  10. KW has proven to get the better end of the deals when trading prospects for proven talent. But, i mean what is his record for proven ( i know with bmac this is loose but he is going to pitch right away) talent for prospects? I mean i have to trust him but when we were talking about not trading for crawford because mccarthy was so valuable then trading him away for 2 prospects neither of which are Elite enough for the Rangers to keep...i'm just kind of blown away by this trade in the worst way.
  11. j. dilla produced the latter two tribe called quest albums. i don't know, give destroyer a shot. I thought the thom yorke album was terrible. Again that was the compiled list.
  12. this trade just pisses me off in the worst way, merry christmas sox fans.

    saw the good shephard today. This film made me very uncomfortable, which wasn't a bad thing, a bit wearisome at 2.5 hours, but a very interesting film. There was no real good guy, the protagonist had many moral dillemas and internal problems, and the entire film was shot as if the audience was spying in on the action itself. De Niro never really shot damon in any close up shots, which gave the aura that he was left alone or a bit awkward in the world he was often trying to save. The only time he really fit in was around people trying to deceive him. Good flick, may get mixed reviews, and I'll probably be able to identify them, but to me the weaknesses did not bother me (e.g. the father problem not being fully developed imo) 4/5
  15. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Dec 23, 2006 -> 03:16 AM) I've heard of maybe two of them. well, honestly my descriptives weren't really new-user friendly. I don't quite remember your taste heads, but i'd say j. dilla is a real cool pick if you are remotely into hip hop production, and if i think there is one album on there you should definitely give a listen to it is Beirut. and chisoxrd5, that really means a lot to me, I appreciate it.
  16. 45rpmzine okay so this is my websites composite list for 06, my top fifty will be up this weekend...please click??? thanks!

    QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Dec 21, 2006 -> 03:20 AM) Anybody who is into the Blues (both of the Chicago style and of the old Delta style) or the great Motown style of R&B needs to check out Willie Phoenix: http://www.williephoenix.com/ His first album is more straight Blues, while the second dips into late 60's sounding Motown. The guy is killer, and he has a new one about to be released. Check him out if you get the need for some great tunes! tight, thank you.

    napolean dynomite and anchorman a dry sense of humor? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, this is much funnier than either of those two movies.
  21. if we go 9-7 in the big 12 we can make the tourney. i think our press will screw with a few teams but we are pretty bad at rebounding. Lawrence is dynomite for threes and hannah is a baller. I think this year we'll make a splash just in the fact that playing against anderson is going to be a b-word to prepare for. I'm excited.
