  15. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 08:58 PM) On this issue, f*** Homeland Security. What are they going to do to Daley? If a Hired-Truck scandal and demoliton of Miggs Field can't phase him, this certaintly won't. HE'S THE TEFLON MAYOR. haha, thats what i was thinking, what can they do to daley if he does it?

yeah i'm glad that other people are like me. Its true that sox fans are peas in a pod... last night i was explaining to a yankee fan friend, the white sox actually WINNING in the playoffs was never in my REALM of thinking...i realized that they could be in the playoffs, i realized that theoretically they could win in the playoffs, but i never actually imagined the WHITE SOX WINNING in the playoffs. Its incredible. And like other people said, the further we go, the more just like taken aback and shocked you get. Last night when paulie hit the home run, i didn't go nuts like i usually do, i was with all my friends (i'm the only sox fan) and when it went over all i said was "are you serious? oh my god" this team is a lot like a home run, you know it was hit hard, and every time you think the outfielder has it lined up, the ball keeps sailing over his head... Heres to hoping the wind doesn't knock it down before it goes over the wall
  19. QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) The put out is recorded by the catcher who completes the play. The swing and a miss is only part of the play, just like grounding to the second baseman is only part of a routine out at first. The offensive team has to complete the play, which is either the catcher catching the ball, or the batter/runner being tagged out. Continuing the analogy, the first baseman could drop the throw from second but could still pick up the ball and tag the runner or base on the force. Clearer? thank you this solved it for me
  20. okay puns not used so far High Fidelity grosse point blank eight men out identity
  21. i'm more confused now, what is this rule?
  22. yeah, stop listening to zach de la rocha and just put in some john denver...haha, nice switch up
  23. haha, i ALMOST like winning like this a bit more, if only because it pisses everyone off, and ends the curse talk and white sox nation... this was fun eh?
