I was surprised too, but when Romo is getting $20 million a year to do a much easier job, and same with college coaches making bank in much more secure standing, I think it is going to cause a bit of a shake-up since being an NFL coach is pretty rough. That's why the guffawing at Harbaugh asking for $100M was silly to me, that's going to be par for the course soon. Heck, good college coordinators are often making millions compared to NFL guys in that 750k-1M range.

I think people are judging it too harshly. That it was a close game was itself very nice. Super bowls don't typically have drama. I mean we had like a 10 year run in the 90s of blowouts seemingly every year. This was at least 100x better than the Rams last super bowl, and better than the Broncos/Panthers super bowl.

Rams are a weird team. Since that Mexico City game it has felt like they are underachieving even though they have now won a super bowl and have won a lot. They are filled with stars but have played extremely boring, unimpressive games where they sometimes still win.

Not as big of a deal in grand scheme of things, but last year was apparent the struggle to get game day staff especially when things started in June. Adding more uncertainty this offseason to an already extremely tight labor market makes me think (hopefully) April will be a pretty brutal gameday experience when they already shortstaff the stadium.
