2019 MLB draft thread
Lol, sox being open to abrams is such a welcome development and everyone is just going to shit on themselves for why it's bad. If witt is there, sox take him. FG had sox going Singer last year. Bukauskus year before. I love their style, but if you changed your priors because of that kiley comment you're a fool.

Jrue Holiday >>> 7th pick. I've stopped caring about cap space considering nobody will want to sign with this coach/org. Jrue's decline the next 3 years will be nothing. Holiday/Lavine/Porter/Markannen/WCJ is good.

Naw Jrue would be peeerfect for bulls, and I don't think Pels are into trading jrue anymore. It's going to be for conley if anyone.

Being scared of an 80 runner with 60 raw power because we don't know that our org is competent enough to provide the tweaks to tap into it...sucks so much.

Banuelos leaves game with shoulder soreness
Cashner averages 5.1 innings per start. He has 144 innings to go before 187. That means he would need to pitch in 35 games this year to hit that, which is impossible. Even when he was good he never hit 187 ip in a season.

I would not give up forbes. We are doing them a favor. I think sox would take on salary for a single year, they just need to keep him under 187 IP. I would give them like the remaining 2018 intl money + taylor varnell.

He's not good but he's not embarrassing and you would be unlikely to need to give up anything of significance.

Said it before but what about trading for Cashner.

Kenny's Greatest Hitters
It’s not a good record but in his defense he was hamstrung in being forced to only pay recommended slot while also picking often in the back half of the first round. Hahn has been fortunate to draft under a CBA much more favorable to our owners stone tablet commandments. Of course if I was hamstrung in the draft I’d have went all in on international scouting and not hand the operations over to a criminal.

It’s not “in the hopes of”. It’s really not a different concept at all than best player available.

The question is can Lauri and lavine and a supporting cast of John Paxson free agents make the 8th seed. Talent wise hard to picture them near a second round that this year featured Celtics/bucks/raps/76ers. They are closer to Orlando than Brooklyn, and feel so far from even the pacers. Very, very little depth. Those teams are all closer to 10 deep. Bulls are 4 deep.

White is probably the best pick but I expect him to struggle a lot year 1.

Not in this draft it wasn’t. Zion was a once a decade guy.

Worked out for both sides, but the mavs traded the 10th overall pick in a trash draft and got a star in Doncic. Sigh.

Is what it is. Bulls are not in a fun place right now. Very boring. white is a good pick at 7 but not sure his fit. Free agency terrifies me.

players cannot develop if a ball makes their pitching lines look horrible!

It's not just birmingham. It's AA. It's a big jump.- Sox vs Indians 5/14 1:10PM CT
nvm. edit. failed post.- Sox vs Indians 5/14 1:10PM CT
yes, and as bad as charlottes other pitchers are, worth mentioning AAA as a whole and the IL has been an insane runs environment so he's done pretty well.- Sox vs Indians 5/14 1:10PM CT
a bunch of random ones are censored correctly, the most common ones aren't picking upf or some reason.- 2018-2019 Official NBA thread
I would probably do that. if you walked away with like ball and brandon clarke or coby white that would be pretty exciting. Or if bol bol fell. But I don't know how much more I like that then darius garland. - 5/14 Games
