Actually I disagree with the last point, i think the jon vs. dany stuff has been foreshadowed for a long ass time. Also, I don't think Dany was trying to take Kings landing with a 45 person army, that was just a meeting to negotiate.

Ha, I'm in same boat with you. I am not mad, I'm resigned to the fate of the show and that they needed to end it because these actors and production folks need to move on and its an intense show to work on, but this was back to season 7 super sped up just get people to their plot points (after the first 30 minutes at least).
  3. Tired of time line arguments with high schoolers. Sox took 3 college players in 2016, and carter kieboom, a high school pick, made it to the big leagues before all of em. You can't plan on the college player being up there in 3 years any more than a high schooler.
  4. That first double was definitely a “Birmingham home run”
  5. Tiquan Forbes just worked a 12 pitch AB for a walk
  6. Death
  7. Also Sox worst tendencies are spending way too much draft capital on college pitchers with low velo repertoires.
  8. Athleticism is good.
  9. This is where I hope additions like Lisle are focused. That he was id’d to be a college hitting coach made me happy, college programs have been doing a great job with finding good teachers and pros have been poaching them. He has the ability but needs someone to tap into his technique.
  10. The slide feet first people aren’t here huh
  11. Castellanos is an Abreu replacement.
  12. Castellanos is an abreu replacement.
  13. throw a bunch of baseballs at his feet and hope that he slips and lands on his shoulder just so, so that the tension creates an incredible whip lash that allows him to throw over 100.
  14. I asked James Fegan for Pilkington velocity and he said he's still 87-91. Woof.
  15. Who cares, we had him for 2.5 more years, that's a long time. I want 2021 to be very competitive, now we need a body to replace him that is more expensive and likely older.
  16. Ugh if they go all college again. After rodon though, definitely feels like they'll try to plug holes.
  17. Who cares, their new front office was hired prior to 2017, they've been on jobs for 2 years and already have a playoff appearance and appear likely to contend for central this year, and are looking like they will be able to be reall solid soon with Kiriloff, lewis and larnach. They aren't the same group now since 2012, and Falvey and Lavine seem to be really smart and experimental. Their team this year is playing really fun interesting ball. Despite a much smaller revenue outlook, they seem like they are just as likely to content for next decade as the white sox.
  18. They could basically try to put together a brewers type rotation of solid top to bottom, hope kopech/cease are better than solid, and have legit depth (6-7 deep). Wood/Odorizzi/Roark would be around that though roark may be cooked. Or they'll sign madbum. They seem to love sinker ballers.
  19. Wheeler is basically rodon but on free agent money. That's a bit scary but the risk they are now needing to take.
  20. They will probably tread in the Rourk, Wood, etc. waters. Jake Odorizzi may be a decent 4-5 signing. He changed his profile this year to be more Four Seam/ Cutter/ Curve which is in line with sox flow. His cutter is a really good pitch. Ugh, this is what I'm excited about. Jake Odorizzi.
  21. So do we think the red sox encourage their pitchers to rest more in between pitches? I can never stay up to finish sox/sox games.
  22. along the same vein: https://www.theringer.com/nba/2019/5/3/18527632/boston-celtics-playoffs-family Hard to read with dry eyes.
  23. So anyway this is a fairly large setback.

I just want one game where we bunt every single time. Not much to ask.
