With a wonderfully interesting update, here are two BA scouting reports for my soxtalk bretheren. I'm particularly intrigued by Goss. Hunter Barco Both athletic and great size. Barco's changeup is intriguing and a 6'4 lefty. But I really like Goss's writeup.

Very pro. As someone who basically only has access to player type and draft resource management I'm pro. But these wild vacillations in draft strategy each year make me wonder how successful their combining of analytics and scouting operations are.

KW for much of the 00s was drafting based on what he could afford. Telling me drafting Lance Broadway and Kyle Mcculloch was BPA on their board is such an own goal.

Sweet, I'd expect either 6/1 then or at the latest when the mass draft assignments start.

In March we heard June 1st but I don't know if that meant resuming baseball activities or full season ball assignment. I hope he's in AZ playing back field games now.

That's good but KW very rarely drafted best player available and was constantly trying to feed mlb depth through the draft so I have to wonder how invested the org is in it.

That's fine with me, even with the struggles to refine pitchers in MLB level, there doesn't seem to be a lot of stuff in the system after Cease. I'm hoping they can add some guys. It ain't gonna show up from international that's for sure. That said, there are dudes like Ethan Small from MSU that I really like as a profile but not much of a "stuff" guy.
