  1. This is fair. But the Sox could lean into the success lopez has on his slider and curve but it feels like are adamant in making him a 2 seam and change up pitcher.
  2. Hey now, the bulls seem to do fine consistently firing coaches while keeping blame on them.
  3. Seems to work fine for the astros ?‍♂️ How is stay tall as a philosophy working for us?
  4. The Sox have played 14 innings as batters so far this year. They have scored in 1.
  5. Ultimately a nice opening series wouldn’t have meant anything in the grand scheme of the season but it would have done loads for maintaining my interest through these months. but watching out starters once again struggle to find the zone with weaker stuff than expected, and hitters chopping balls to second on the second pitch while defense is a mess... tough to be psyched.
  6. Why does Kansas City have these detailed plans for each of our hitters and we just seem to throw the same shit at everyone every year
  7. He should be throwing like 80% curveballs but they keep trying to make his fastball low and away an out pitch. He’s missing it over and over.
  8. Hits a two strike count and starts flying open.
  9. Glad to see it. End Sarris had an article on how Lopez should cut way down on his fastball usage.
  10. Basketball has made Hoiberg a very rich man
  11. Those were two terrible pitches on 1-2
  12. Weird since Eloy sprays ball pretty much around the field.
  13. Mentions Bush has found power, though he is attacking early in the count and may need to make adjustments to his approach as he moves up. And that sox felt they got a 5th round talent in the 33rd round and that Law agreed, and if Bush had played in california people would be all over him.
  14. Yeah but unfortunately Howard was not Forte.
  15. There were certainly ways bears could have used Howard better but it's clear Nagy liked other players better for those roles. Felt like Carlos Boozer on offense, didn't really fit but they would still try and force feed 15 post-ups every game to keep him in the game. Also just don't fall in love with runningbacks. This pick can be used to move up to get the guy they want in this draft. We'll have them for 3 years then trade them.
  16. Hilarious to recall that pre 2011 the reputation of Dunn was just how consistent he was.
  17. Did Davidson make Texas? edit: he did not.
  18. *whispers* marwin gonzalez went 1-2 with a BB and 2 rbi
  19. said it before but you could have a worse philosophy than drafting a rb every year and always trading them a year before free agency. Wont be lucrative but better then paying them. Gives bears $2 mill more to play with.
  20. I don’t know why we act like baseball uses “clear and convincing evidence” they overturn shit all the time that isn’t clear
