I think Coop did a very good job for a long time, but 2012 was the last year I could say he did a great job. But he seems to have been a poor fit to work with a bunch of young pitchers at once, which maybe any pitching coach would fail at. But overall, I agree with DA that it would just result in Curt Hasler, and the ideal situation where a pitching coach/manager are aligned with a progressive front office ain't happening.

I feel like only Robert will be promoted before the draft. Then it will just be a bunch of draft promotions.

Plenty of draft picks fail.

I find it so weird for Jessica Mendoza to be announcing a mets game

I am still very confident that a player with a hit tool and baseball IQ like his will overproduce compared to expectations. I just don’t know that he figures that out by his first two years, but his other tools are carrying tools that can have him arrive before his offensive power arrives.

What strategy genius will Ricky bring to the table when he can’t just fall back on default left right matchups?

Curious to hear what you mean by this. What was pre neutered Hostetler? What is pre neutered Haber? These dudes had some outside experience, but are thick with the white Sox home grown life.

I think his point is none of those players were drafted by the white Sox despite high picks.

If you crush it in Birmingham you can make it in the majors. when Anderson survived Birmingham it was the sign he’d be alright.

Not yet.

Man it’s empty at the stadium

I misunderstood future Sox’s Julie tweet and thought Hansen through 5 IP last night and was really excited then realized that was just for the season.

?

I’d be more in favor of sending him from AA to the majors then skipping AA for AAA

I believe he has already surpassed the number of hits manny had as a white sox in that illustrious part of his career

Austin tries so hard to be entertaining.

Leury is the man.

Yeah, and...I mean they choose the questions. Don't answer it if you don't have anything to add.

Longenhagen is better on podcasts/audio, really don't like his chats. He jokes a lot about how people think he is mean on chats, but has also leaned even more that way and is so terse it seems like there's no point in reading it.

Heywards only $15million/WAR, so he would help. And my numbers with hahn aren't cherry picking like this. I could remove like half the WAR with no money in Zach Putnam and Swarzak and it would nearly double his $/WAR.

That was 8 years ago.

I think we'll find out hopefully this summer. I hope they start him at SS.

So a collection of Theo's worst signings came out to a 17 mill/War, $4 million per WAR less than a collection of all of Hahns signings minus Abreu. That tells me a lot.

I hope the next time frare comes up they trust him with more than lefties so we can see if he can be an actual piece.
