Yeah in minors for sure and that is clear sailing all the way through the system.

It legit doesn’t matter until the Sox say something. If you listened to tiff like that, Collins would already be a 1b

Probably Kanny. nice thing about injury is he may not be as worn out as most college prospects.

Weathers over Liberatore and Stewart. Surprised.

They also said there was a split and so they guessed the person with power would win. It didn’t, which should be a testament to the Sox process, including KW. I don’t live Callis for player evals but dang is he good at mock drafts.

Yeah he loves Madrigal at 2b. I think sox will keep TA and Moncada where they are and move Madrigal all around.

I’ll just keep asking, what would the Yankees, Astros dodgers cubs do with an excess of talent at a position? You just move them all around, you get 12 good baseball players and make it work.

Sooo pummmmpppppeeeedddd

White Sox on the clock. KW swinging a golf club wildly protecting the phone from others.

I haven’t seen twitter picks spoiled so I think we’re live.

I like Mize cause he actually strikes people out.

My guess is he was on everyone’s shortlist but never the top so everyone just assumed he’d go earlier.

I don’t think that’s the reason he does have some decent accuracy in mocks though. Hope he’s right.

I’ll stay in anger FOREVER jk I’ve moved on I’m in 2020 already

BAs latest has Singer to WSox.

I think this is pretty on-point. Though ideally (for me) both are on board and we draft Madrigal and we hear he was their guy all along

You are arguing his ceiling is Cesar Hernandez, and I don't agree. I think there are plenty of examples of atypical talents having a big impact. I think Cesar Hernandez is his median projection.

Me? I don't know, I don't like his k rate. I've been less obssessed with him than most of soxtalk, but I like him more than soxtalks last obsession, Adam Hasely.

Those are good second round ones.

Ha, thanks for finding this.

I think what would happen is the Phillies would just pick him probably and figure it out.

Fegan nicely gives the sox Madrigal in the Athletic mock draft: https://theathletic.com/370469/2018/05/29/the-athletics-first-mlb-mock-draft-twenty-four-beat-writers-and-a-former-gm-project-the-first-round/

On twitter yesterday, Kiley said he was getting fed a lot of nonsense and expected lunch to be the goods. They may be wrapping up everything they heard earlier. I did notice the board had reports go up of way more people which is nice. edit: https://www.fangraphs.com/scoutboard.aspx?draft=2018mlb&type=0&pos=all&team=all

I don't have a "beef" with him. I'm personally very skeptical on the "super credentialed" college pitcher types. But like any pitcher, Singer could take his pitchability, find some velo, find a 3rd or 4th pitch, and be great. After the success of the astros, I like that stewart and winn have good spin rates. I like the consistency and LH of Liberatore. I'd prefer hitters, and yeah, I'd probably take Kelenic over Singer though his old-for-his-year thing reminds me a bit too much of Rutherford.

My personal, not that informed rankings For 4: 1. Mize 2. Bart 3. Madrigal 4. Bohm 5. Carter Stewart 6. India 7. Liberatore 8. Swaggarty 9. Winn 10. Kelenic For 46 1. Xavier Edwards (though this is unlikely unless you are on BAs top 500) 2. Hankins 3. Grayson Rodriguez 4. Jeremiah Jackson 5. Alek Thomas 6. Lenny Torres 7. Schnelly
