Maybe it wasn't Iowa. I thought I read somewhere that where Sweeney came from didn't have high school baseball. But I could be completely wrong about this.

So who else actually has tickets already, I have tix for the 21st game and tony you said 20th and probably 21st correct? What game do you guys want to meet up?

I believe he didn't play hs ball. Because I thought where he's from(Iowa?) doesn't have hs ball. Is that right or did I just make this up?

Cheat, that's the big problem right there. A lot of people that go to those games aren't fans, they're there to get drunk and nothing else. Unfortunately that's how a lot of those crowds have ended up and because of these idiots, fights break out. It's smart for brooks to get rid of these half price tuesdays to eliminate some of the non fans who just go to the park to get wasted. But I guess if the sox do this to get rid of people who aren't fans and only go there to drink, then the flubs could never have a home game.

I agree. Today especially has been torture, nothing to watch except the aaa allstar game.

I got the nine game package this year but unfortunately you don't guarantee yourself playoff tickets with this package. Steff, do you know how much the 27 game package costs for say the lower reserved? I'd love to get that package but money is a huge issue for me and I probably won't be able to pay for that package for a while but I'm interested in the cost.

It's probably the best idea to squash half price tuesdays even though I do enjoy them. But there are a ton of idiots that come to the games on Tuesdays. I've walked up a couple times on Tuesdays because of the half price nights but getting rid of those nights will get rid of a lot of the idiots that come to the park.

Sweeney was picked in the 2nd round and only went that far down because he had some bad workouts and it was unknown whether he'd sign or not.

You can count out the bosox and yanks. If the angels won't even offer for him, it's the white sox or nobody, I guess the rangers could be a sleeper though.

Thanks, do you know how long he's signed for? Knightni there is no way Jose should be moved from short stop, he's been to good there and when he moves around he commits a ton of errors.

If hillenbrand is added in the deal, I'd have no problem parting with Joe and I'm sure kenny wouldn't either. I'm not sure what hillenbrands contract status is but he'd be a nice pickup if joe needed to be included.

Are you sure boys are easier to raise then boys? I've heard that boys are easier to raise then girls.
