I agree if any more upgrades are coming to the offense it's going to be a catcher. Look for the sox to either acquire another starter, a reliever, or maybe both.

I don't think he was bashing frank but no one knows for sure if he will be back.

I agree with you on that. But do you think the Twins will give up Morneau? I know I don't. I would actually like the sox to make a run at batista but I have no idea what it would cost. Miguel is signed for 2 or 3 more years with a reasonable contract.

It's that they aren't trained to pitch that much. If they trained to throw that many pitches they'd be able to get way up there in pitch counts, imo.

We need elo to pitch great because facing mulder in a hitting slump isn't a good formula for a lot of runs.

I'd much rather give up neal. I'm very high on neal and I think he's got a shot to be really special but he's still very much a prospect. I don't want to get rid of jon he's becoming a solid number 3 starter and I think he'll even get better. Neal I would trade to get randy johnson even though I do think he has a chance to be a very good starter but it's still just a chance, nothing for sure.

Like I already said I have no problem giving up arow but carl ain't the solution in centerfield. I want carl back as a dh but in no way would he be the starting centerfielder. Now if you mean that would allow borch to go play center and dh carl, I'm fine with that because that's actually exactly what I would do.

I don't think it's anything serious. It looked like he touched his hamstring after a pitch and lyons seemed to blow it out of proportion. The trainers didn't even look at him when he touched his hammy.... he's fine.

I worded that awfully. By 2nd rate star I mean another player to complement him just like pippen was. I agree with you pippen was awesome with the bulls and in my opinion the best defensive player that ever played his position.

No definitely not, he doesn't have a good enough team around him. I said if he gets a 2nd rate star on the team like a Pippen then I can definitely see Kobe leading a team to a title. Lamar Odom ain't that guy so no L.A. won't even be a top 5 team in the west, imo.

Detroit will fizzle a little, they're a lot like last years royals. The indians might stay around a little longer because they do have 3 solid starting pitchers. But as many people have mentioned their bullpen is awful so I don't think they can win this division but they'll probably hang around for a while.

But Jordan had Pippen. The bulls had perfect role players around those guys, granted I'm not arguing kobe is close to jordan because he isn't but if you give kobe a scottie pippen like partner then put solid role players around them then he'll win some titles. I agree with aboz, right now Tmac is the only guard that can be mentioned in the same breathe as kobe. Iverson is right below those two, Pierce isn't even close, and vince carter is a showboat who fills seats but is as overrated as they come.
