I would absolutely love to get Crazy Carl back. So far he's had a down year but that's because he's had injuries, now he'd become the dh and should be able to stay healthy. Nobody should be worried about his attitude he was a great clubhouse guy when he was here and everyone seemed to like him. Not only did carl hit .301 here last year, he came the sox best clutch hitter by far. He was the only guy still hitting down the stretch last year. Carl is a perfect fit here.

Finley is a 10/5 guy, I don't think he wants to come here. Carl would be a perfect dh here.

Well if you think about it, it should be the twins capatilizing while we're playing oakland and they're playing kc but I understand where your coming from. Borch is going to be fine, he looks much better up here then he has in the past, sure he doesn't have a ton of hits yet but he definitely looks much better at the plate. I don't think borch is going to become a superstar like many people have hoped for but I think he'll be a very solid every day player for the sox in the near future.

I think our talent is plenty to finish much higher then 10 over .500, however it's a consistancy factor and if they never become a consistant ball club well then they're not going to finish 10 over.

Please don't call Vince Carter a star. But I do agree with you on the fact that Miami will be better then L.A. Miami will be one of the top 3 teams in the east along with Detroit and Indiana. While the Lakers will probably be fighting for the 7th or 8th seed with Memphis. The lakers aren't as good as dallas, denver, houston, sacramento, san antonio, and minnesota.

I know there is a thread about how long everyone thinks he's going to be out for but Bruce Levine just said that Frank is going to be out atleast 2 months and won't be back until atleast September 15th. Kenny has to go out and get another bat now, we really have no choice right now. Carl Everett to me is the perfect dh for this team.

Garland was squeezed the whole game. Even with being squeezed he only gave up 3 earned runs in 7 innings which is damn good. However, I do agree with krush that he shouldn't complain about the umps, we as fans can but he shouldn't

That whole broadcast last night was awful. Did anyone else have fsn blackout on them during maggs homer? Of course the one good play of the night and the stupid channel blacks out on me.

I agree, that's one of the things that I love about baseball is that there are only 4 teams that make the playoffs, that makes it difficult to make the playoffs and makes every game really count.

TK is a funny guy but does anyone know how he ever got into sports? He seems to know very little about anything and always claims to go to sleep early so he can't watch any of the games.

Last night was just poorly played. But the sox did play well their first two games up there and could have won both of those games and would have won atleast won if shingo was the closer. Yesterday was basically a flashback to the way the sox have played up there the last 3 years but the first two games were actually very well played. I like the next two matchups but obviously don't like mulder vs. elo. Hopefully mark and freddy pitch well and we can split this series.
