Well, well, well
There for real. The one thing that can happen is Chris Carpenter breaking down, since he hasn't pitched this much in a long time.

Baseball Movies
It's 81 pitches but who's counting. That is a pretty dumb movie, my favorite line in that movie is when one of the announcers are talking, he says something like if he(forgot brendan's characters name) pitches a perfect game like everyone expects him to. Anyways getting to good movies, I love field of dreams and eight men out is also very good.

Speaking of anthony, how's he doing? I haven't heard much about him since he got dealt.- Two realistic Guys I'd like to Add....
Hasn't meadows always been solid out of the pen, hasn't he just had problems as a starter? I'd also like to add Meadows and Kendall.- Don't throw it back
Anyone who throws a ball back is a jackass. Anyone who wants to throw a ball back I hope that they never come to the cell and go only to the northside to be with all the other idiots.- Brando's Bandwagon
You sure about that brando? That's just what Bruce said but I probably trust any one here more then Levine so your probably right.- Brando's Bandwagon
Florida is interesting. I've heard they might try and trade Pavano or Penny to acquire a bat. I'd obviously be interested in both guys but I'm not sure if that is realistic or not.- Another Yankee All Star
Yup, only 25 percent of the allstar team is yankees. What the hell is joe doing, the allstar team needs to be atleast half yankees.- Brando's Bandwagon
Bruce Levine and Chris Bowden are on espn 1000 today for moronotti and Bruce said that Kenny has called arizona but at the time he wasn't available. Bruce also said now that Randy has said he'd waive his no trade clause that he's sure Kenny will call arizona again. The problem obviously is the money rj has 8 mill owed for the rest of this year and 17 due for next year. Because of the money the yanks and bosox are obvious suitors. Now I know the yanks have basically nothing in their farm. I'm not sure about the red sox but I don't think they have a lot either, anybody know what Boston has down on the farm?- Brando's Bandwagon
I also agree with what your saying. But last year it's not like kenny gave up any studs. In the garcia trade Olivo is the guy that will probably hurt us in the future more then any one else. Sure reed has the potential to be a very good player but their is so much outfield depth in the minors plus rowand proving to be a very solid player I don't think we're going to regret giving up reed.- Thomas goin down...
If Frank goes down, carl everett is probably the perfect guy to fill the void. He'd be able to dh, he's got a very good left handed bat and he's a very clutch hitter. Plus I think he's only owed 2 million dollars for the rest of the year.- Brando's Bandwagon
I disagree with that. The sox have a lot of talent and depth in the lower minor leagues. Because of the very good drafts the sox keep having their is going to be plenty of talent to trade or to play for the white sox.- Brando's Bandwagon
DBAHO, can you post the article for some reason I can't get into that link.- 7/8 Games
Second straight year with the sox having one guy in the futures game. It kind of sucks to only have one guy in there but oh well, I'll take Freddy.- Fallen Angels to Sox (we pray)
Timo is about as clutch as they come on the sox. He's come up with some gigantic hits this year.- Fallen Angels to Sox (we pray)
HOLY f***IN s*** BALLS, TIMO YYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!- Maggs Activated
You CAN trade a guy on the dl so that doesn't matter. It seems really odd that they reinstated him so quickly because all the talk was about him coming back after the allstar break.- 5th Starter
His numbers are worse then last year but I like what he's doing this year but then last year. The way carlos is hitting I'd much rather have him up in a clutch situation this year then last year.- 5th Starter
This sucks that we have to have this conversation again but unfortunately it looks like it still isn't solved. I'm all for giving Rauch another chance also. I know brando is going to say randy johnson, I still think that's unrealistic but another trade is probably the best way to go. How about Barry Zito, it seems more and more likely that oakland will try trading barry for another bat. I know he's struggling right now but I'm sure he'll get it turned around.- This team some bats
Is anyone else going to mention that for 4 out of these 6 games that the sox offense has been dead their two best hitters have not been playing. I know the offense shouldn't be this bad no matter what but the point remains with out Frank and Magglio in the lineup it's going to be hard to score some runs. I would not mind Steve Finley either but another starter and bullpen help are still bigger needs then another bat. The sox are playing like s*** right now but the sky is not falling, this team we'll be fine and back in first place very soon.- I hate to say this
Same garbage threads popping up two weeks ago. Any time there is a bad stretch is there going to be a thread that pops up and says we're doomed, the sox suck, blah, blah blah. This is a very good team that happens to be struggling right now. Give them 2 or 3 more weeks they'll be back in first place.- Randy Johnson might be available
O god please keep this thread away from Brando. - reed vs anderson
