Has shingo had a 2 inning outing this year?? I'm not sure if he has and if he hasn't that probably wouldn't have been the best thing to do, there were 3 lefties coming up, cotts looked good that first inning and then he just got burned on a pitch that was almost unhittable and should have been ball 3. In my opinion ozzie did nothing wrong in that instance.

If seattle is unwilling to trade right now, kenny might go out there find a 5th starter that you can use as a stop gap until seattle is ready to make freddy available, then stick the 5th guy into the bullpen and give jackson or cotts their walking papers. I don't know if anyone saw this but this kind of scared me, Dan Evans who is now a mariners scout was at the yankees game today scouting their starter they had out there, hopefully nothing will come of that but that can't be a good sign.

Damaso wasn't available tonight so keeping cotts in was the right thing to do. Anyways this game hurt because they got so close but this team definitely doesn't give up. Unfortunately Arnie and the bullpen were pathedic, willie's missed bunt attempt really put a dagger through my heart that hurt a lot. On the bright side the twins lost.

That game was just unbelievable. Hopefully kenny jumps on a deal soon, hopefully one that involves freddy coming to the southside.

Last year was by far the worst of Garcia's career, he had some problems with burst ear drums and he was far from brutal. If you think contreras is as good of a pitcher as Garcia your nuts. I wouldn't mind getting conteras to put in the bullpen if the yanks picked up his salary but in no way is he even close to the pitcher Freddy is.

I think this guy is making something out of nothing but I hope kenny is on the verge of something and the earlier he can make a deal the better. If it takes Reed to get Freddy then you have to go for it only if that's the only way seattle will make the deal. It seems like Kenny is higher on JB then he is on Reed. While I would be real sad to see Jeremy go if it means taking a shot at winning this year I'm all for it.

Carl would be awesome to get back but he CAN'T play centerfield. I'm not sure where he would play unless more deal were to come. I also like steve finley but once again with Crede starting to hit there is no where to play any of these guys unless another deal is made. I know finley would play centerfield but then what would you do with willie and uribe, they've been spark plugs in the lineup and both deserve there spot in the lineup.

I got out of what I was supposed to do tonight. Now I can watch the game.

Exactly, like I said I absolutely despise the cubs and most of their fans are just a bunch of morons. I always want the cubs to lose, however that's the third thing I concern myself with, first is obviously the sox, second the twins and then the flubs.
