  1. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 05:41 PM) Tom Brady is/was 100% dropable in a 10 team league. Feels good to say, doesn't it?
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 05:28 PM) You gotta move He is actually an old SIU roommate of mine who in Carbondale was the perfect person to live with. He's always been weird as hell but he kept to himself and paid all his bills on time, no complaints whatsoever when we lived together down there. This is just so bizarre and crazy though but the good news is I'm already 3 months into a 12 month lease!
  3. Fun story of the day... So my roommate met this girl on tinder about 2.5 months ago, they were officially dating 2 days later. She's been living with us ever since and when I say that, she's literally been in our apartment every minute of every day as apparently she doesn't work and he works from home. Anywho, I get a text from him a couple of hrs ago saying "Miriam and I got married!!!" With a picture of them wearing their new wedding rings. WHAT. THE. f***.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 02:35 PM) ....I thought the stipulation was hell in a cell. Nope, the winner gets Rollins in the Cell. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 03:00 PM) WCW presents Hell in a Cell!! Exactly.
  5. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 05:05 PM) I had to drop Chrome because I kept getting these resolving host errors that were driving me nuts. I couldn't figure it out. I just switched soxtalk.com to compatibility view and it seems to have fixed it. It's not just you, I have the same problem at work with IE.
  6. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 02:29 PM) Workouts this week have been tough...by the end, I am dragging, especially today when I did plyo....I'm just wondering if I have enough glycogen or glucose stores or whatever to sustain workouts that intense...then I'm supposed to eat mashed pumpkin or some s*** afterwards....right Ha I'm sure your body will get used to it. The intensity of my workouts really hasn't changed to be honest, maybe because I do them basically right when I get up so I never have too much food in me to begin with.
  7. Go read the smackdown spoilers and check out the stipulation added to the Ambrose-Cena match and then laugh.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 01:55 PM) Try The Flash. Should fit in your schedule. I shall.
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 07:46 AM) This has been a disastrous season. I'm 2-3 and have yet to have a week where both of my starting RBs play. I've made some moves that have backfired, trading for Jamaal Charles the week he hurts his ankle and trading for Montee Ball last week. However, last night I might have saved my season. The owner of Aaron Rodgers was panicky and desperate for a running back. He loves Cam Newton (go figure, f*** you Cam Newton), and I somehow convinced him to take Ball, Hillman, Newton, and Darrin Reaves for Rodgers, Pierre Garcon, and two non-rosterable guys (Shonn Greene and MJD). Then, I flipped Rodgers immediately to one of the three Packers fans who were pissed off he got dealt. What a goldmine this was, as I dealt Aaron Rodgers, Victor Cruz, and Shonn Greene for Drew Brees, Antonio Brown, and Chris Ivory. Of course, I have to contend with both Brees and Charles being on BYE this week, but this is a formidable roster come Week 7 (when I'll likely be 2-4). QB Drew Brees WR Antonio Brown WR Alshon Jeffery RB Jamaal Charles RB Chris Ivory (I know, can sub in Shane Vereen if I'm feeling like a crazy person TE Julius Thomas WR/RB/TE Pierre Garcon Then a kicker and a defense #whatever That'll work.
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 01:28 PM) If Ned Yost can reach the ALCS, there is no reason why Robin can't. That's the thing, you can win despite of your manager in baseball even if he is completely incompetent.
  11. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 01:16 PM) I just don't see Robin Ventura as one of even the top ten issues that our team needs to address. Agreed.
  12. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 3, 2014 -> 01:54 PM) I hear last month people were getting really good deals on jewelry in Ferguson. Haha, awesome.

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 01:04 PM) I caught it last night and agree. It seems to be striking just the right tone, so far. Ya, I have too many damn things to watch on Monday's so Tuesday is my Gotham night.
  14. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 01:01 PM) Well he has fumbled 11 times in only 133 touches in the last 2 years so a lot worse. Is that even possible to do?

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 07:17 AM) Bullock is such an awful cop,I'm love it. Beat up by a woman than balloon man takes his gun so easily, I thought the concept of the weather balloon was very comic like and fit the show. This maybe my fav new show. Yup. I suspend disbelief when watching this show, I'm not expecting it to be realistic. I thought the 3rd episode was just as good as the first two. Next week looks fun as well.
  16. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 8, 2014 -> 09:52 AM) So started this Whole 30 diet with the wife on Sunday...meat, vegetables, fruits, and some nuts, that's it. I've been doing a modified(meaning I give myself a weekend day for drinky and something different to eat) version of that for a few weeks now. You'll obviously have your cravings but it's honestly not the hardest thing in the world to do. The fruit keeps me sane.
  17. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 11:28 PM) I'm agreeing with you. And now time for more ridiculous baseball champagne celebrations like you won the World Series. I know. I'm sorry, I really don't want to deal with Cardinals-Giants here. Blah.
  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 11:24 PM) Well no. However, that's one where if it's not totally obvious he goes around, you throw it down to 1st. He must have thought he went way further around then he actually did. That check swing is one I grab when doing one-man, or in two-man with the base umpire in the middle (runner on). On that, you always grab the strike there. It's the 2nd to last out of this team's season, it's completely unacceptable for him to not throw it down to first. That's f***in awful.
  19. That ump should legit be fired for that.
  20. Alright Bryce Harper...nobody in the world wants to see Giants-Cardinals.
  21. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 10:52 PM) Shock of the century that this home plate rule is called to the stage in an NLDS elimination game with the Giants being one of the teams. And Buster Posey on the play at the plate.
  22. I guess pitchers can do that. Cool.
  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 07:17 PM) Snell is pretty well buried on the depth chart. We aren't going to see a whole lot of him. There's definitely time for him at the 2 if he doesnt suck.
