  1. Can't believe TLR is going to be coaching the Bears.
  2. My number 1 candidate:
  3. The Cleveland series was a much bigger fail on RR's part than game 3 was imo. Game 3 certainly wasn't great but that was more of a front office fail than anything else imo.
  4. Good thread. Coop did so many good things for this organization and I'm thankful for every bit of it. It was definitely time to move on but that doesn't mean Coop didn't have a great career overall here.
  5. Wow, I'm pretty shocked honestly. Good for them!
  6. If there's one thing in life that's true, it's the fanbase that's never seen their team make back to back playoff appearances in 120 years is insanely spoiled.
  7. Gotta wait until year 16 of the rebuild to go all in.

    Killed it with this one.
  9. I don't think either should be locked into a spot but at least one of them will be in the rotation. Sign a starter and let Kopech, Cease and Dunning fight it out for the last 2 spots.
  10. Right but that means Dane shouldn't have started to begin with. That said in Ricky's defense(I know) and as you said, everything was fucked after the Crochet injury anyways.
  11. You have to go all in for Bauer. That said, ya, Q seems like the right answer.
  12. Start Foster and then go with the other 5 pen guys that have been lights out this year(including Crochet here). Yes, we’re going to need Dunning if we advance but in a do or die game go with your best guys and just try to survive.
  13. To be fair, my hope is starting to amp up if Fathom has completely given up. 05 vibes there.
  14. Nah, you're not going to mess with Robert for Adam Engel. Despite the fact that Robert can't time a jump he's still a very good defensive centerfielder and no need to mess with him, especially when his head is wrapped up in hitting woes right now.
  15. Cordero shouldn't have been in to begin with either. People are over looking that because the Rodon decision was such a bonkers terrible one.
  16. They're scuffling big time but Cleveland is also arguably the best pitching staff in the American League so there's that. Look, we need the offense to be better come next week but this team was in position to win at least 2 of these games in this last series and Ricky screwed the pooch here, there's just no debate there.
  17. Ya, this is what is so infuriating about it. We have 4 guys active right now(5 when Evan comes back and Crochet being the X factor here) that have been absolute studs this year and we’re blowing late leads right now because of mismanagement. The weapons are there.
  18. So many decisions this series that pissed me off when it came to the pen. While everyone is focusing on Rodon/Bummer tonight(as well we should be), I don’t get why Cordero was starting that inning instead of Foster. Cordero got blooped to death but Codi(who probably wasn’t available tonight) and Foster have to be your 7th and 8th inning guys from the right side.
  19. Honestly thought he had done a pretty good job this season and then this series happened. That’s one of the worst handling’s of a bullpen I’ve ever seen in a series. Absolutely horrific.
  20. RF imo is the only other place to spend those resources and there isn’t anyone out there that’s going to change the game. You can use your trade capital to find a long term solution at rf.
  21. Nah, he was bad. And your point given this reference still makes 0 sense. Bauer is a TOR so yes, if he does what he usually does they’re going to let him pitch. This is silly.
  22. Ya exactly. People can be an ‘expert’ on this stuff but nobody knows.
  23. Bauer is a proven top of the rotation guy, Mazara was a proven bad baseball player before we ever got him. This is an awful comparison.
  24. That's a whole lot of unproven outside of the top 2. Unless you can find a stud rf in free agency(you can't), you absolutely use your capital to bring in Bauer and let the youngins fight it out for the final 2 spots because that's the only place to use your resources. If you have an abundance of young staring pitching then you can use 1 or 2 to bring in a long term solution for rf.
