There was a ton of us(myself included) who were throwing temper tantrums during that time. I, however, know I could never stop being a fan of this stupid organization otherwise I would have a long time ago.
Right. I'm one of Kopech's biggest fans but legit have 0 idea what his actual value would be on the market and I'm guessing it's lower than some of us would like to think. That's one of the reasons I think trading him would be a pretty bad idea right now. Obviously if his value is that high where he could be used to acquire Degrom then that's a whole different story.
Here in Saint Louis too it appears. Like bmags said, they can be wrong and hopefully they area, maybe everyone is just playing games but ya this isn't looking good.
The Cleveland series was a much bigger fail on RR's part than game 3 was imo. Game 3 certainly wasn't great but that was more of a front office fail than anything else imo.
Good thread. Coop did so many good things for this organization and I'm thankful for every bit of it. It was definitely time to move on but that doesn't mean Coop didn't have a great career overall here.
If there's one thing in life that's true, it's the fanbase that's never seen their team make back to back playoff appearances in 120 years is insanely spoiled.
I don't think either should be locked into a spot but at least one of them will be in the rotation. Sign a starter and let Kopech, Cease and Dunning fight it out for the last 2 spots.
Right but that means Dane shouldn't have started to begin with. That said in Ricky's defense(I know) and as you said, everything was fucked after the Crochet injury anyways.
Start Foster and then go with the other 5 pen guys that have been lights out this year(including Crochet here). Yes, we’re going to need Dunning if we advance but in a do or die game go with your best guys and just try to survive.
Nah, you're not going to mess with Robert for Adam Engel. Despite the fact that Robert can't time a jump he's still a very good defensive centerfielder and no need to mess with him, especially when his head is wrapped up in hitting woes right now.
