  1. I always love when people say stuff like this. In the history of sports, every fan base to ever fan base does this as a whole, it's not specific to the Sox. The difference being, if any fan base has the right to be pissed it's White Sox fans. And my comment has nothing to do with this move in particular as it's not official and I have no clue what they'd give up, it's just funny to me how much the last few days on Twitter or here Sox fans are picking on Sox fans for being too negative.
  2. Also don't fuckin believe Bob's number, he says whatever the Sox tell him to.
  3. And that's fine and dandy(and obviously true) but at some fuckin point you have to overpay to get one of these guys. We're going to keep pushing this shit back because we refuse to pay an extra 15 mill on a player and all the sudden Yoan and Kopech and Gio are hitting free agency and we didn't open their window to win soon enough.
  4. They literally said that they thought they had the best offer on the table.
  5. They certainly have earned the right to not be bashed.
  6. EXACTLY. It's very weird to me how many people just refuse to go an extra 15 mill with a team that currently has no payroll.
  7. Offer more, add another year, don't be such a hot garbage organization for a decade, all of the above? Once again, I'm not buying the Rosenthal report or the Sox guys, seems like PR spin at it's finest after the debacle of last year. That said, if our offer was 120 I'm guessing the Sox and Wheeler's agent were playing a bit of chicken with the agent saying there's another team in the same range and the Sox eventually balked. 2 million with a deciding factor of the fiance being close to home is a lot different than 50 million guaranteed and playing with your friends. Either way, I obviously have no clue what happened but this organization doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt so I'm not giving it to them.
  8. Everyone can shape this however we want but the Sox lost...again. They're not going to be in on the top 2 because they're the White Sox and MadBum just isn't as good right now as Wheeler. Who knows if the Rosenthal report is true but even if it is, it's going to be another huge L of an offseason but hey we tried again or something.
  9. 6 of the top 10 highest paid players in baseball were pitchers this year...5 of them made it to at least the playoffs. 4 in the World Series. Just insanely stupid to pay pitchers a lot of money.
  10. Wheeler has had one freakin injury, it’s not like he’s been out 12 times. Dude has been a great pitcher outside the TJ surgery. Still in his prime, it’s not hard to see why people want this dude. If we’re not going to be in on cole this is the dude to get.
  11. You're not moving Robert out of CF.
  12. That was so fun. Dylan is so fuckin nasty, really pumped to watch him going forward.

Not a trait I would want personally.
  14. There’d be a lot of pissed off fans if they moved Cease around tomorrow. Happy that they kept him pitching game 1.
  15. This. I try very hard not to complain about umps/refs in any sport but that was legit one of the most one sided games I’ve ever seen.
  16. Good point. My bad.
  17. I hear there is one in Charlotte
  18. It’s legit time to stop being scared of being good. Go for it.
  19. I mean, you obviously didn’t.
  20. If you guys legit think STL doesn’t care about the Blues then you’re just being ignorant because you don’t like the Blues. The end.
  21. Carry the 1, ya this whole post is silly.
  22. I just really, really, really don't understand those who are concerned with "wasting money" to add to the 26th highest payroll in baseball. Jerry has freaking money to spend and using it to sign Dallas, does absolutely nothing to hurt this franchise's future.
  23. I’m interested in a one year deal. Everyone thought this team was hot garbage coming into this season and everyone still thinks they have no chance. Fact is there’s a chance that after tonight they’re a game out of a wild card spot. And before people jump on me, I absolutely do not think they’re a playoff team right now but who knows. What I do know is signing Keuchel to a 1 year deal and bringing up Cease may(MAY, PROLLY NOT) give you a chance to sneak into the 2nd wild card with out hurting your future at all, so why the fuck not?
