  1. What kind of beer should I get for tonight?
  2. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 20, 2013 -> 02:32 PM) You should do bad s***. I'm starting to think that Badger is actually a professional criminal, not a lawyer.
  3. Good lord, that final 10 mins of that period was insane.
  4. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jun 19, 2013 -> 02:20 PM) Yeah, but Tebow! Just wait till he's the starting te
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 19, 2013 -> 10:34 AM) Its too bad this series is over. No way the Spurs win Game 7 in Cry-ami. They missed their shot when they couldn't close it out down the stretch. Also wading back into the Jordan vs LeBron argument, that game was a microcosm of every reason why LeBron isn't on MJ's level. Where was the first half of the 4th quarter LeBron James for the other 40 minutes of the game? Jordan sure as hell wansn't deferring to anyone in an elimination game for 40 minutes. You knock Miami at every turn and then always claim they're going to run over their competition too. I do expect Miami to win game 7 but counting the Spurs out of the game is just wrong.
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 19, 2013 -> 10:06 AM) So are you suggesting that the Spurs would have been better off with no review? Pops was calling for the damn thing, and it NEEDED to be reviewed. Also, Van Gundy pointed out that it also gave the Spurs time to draw up a play. People need to stop spinning everything just to hate on the Heat and the refs. I actually think Pop was yelling at the refs for calling the review because it allowed Miami to set up their defense. But under the current replay rules it was the right call to be made...no conspiracy, just a s***ty system.
  7. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 19, 2013 -> 09:34 AM) I think it was, but then Manu going to the rack is usually a pretty good option for them, so I think Pop figured he would let him go to the hole. Manu having the ball is just a bad option at this point. Yes, he was terrific in game 5 but outside of that he has been an awful player in the playoffs. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 19, 2013 -> 09:42 AM) I don't really get why Pop is getting heat for not putting Parker in. Do people have amnesia? Parker was totally gassed and was shut down on two straight possessions. The only thing I can blame Pop for is not having Duncan in the game to rebound, but even then he has a good reason. The Heat went small and Pop wanted to switch on every screen to keep the Heat from getting wide open 3's. The rebound just took an unlucky bounce and Allen hit an insane shot. Because benching your best player on the last 2 possessions of the game when you have a chance to win a championship is absolutely insane.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:39 PM) Only if they lose game 7. But can you imagine being on that team, being so close to a title and blowing it? That team might not get another chance at a title. I feel bad for Duncan because he was an absolute monster tonight and his teammates choked away title #5. His coach as well. Popp is absolutely one of the best coaches of all time but he was horrendous tonight.
  9. Ya the calls at the end of the game don't bother me at all. Parker being on the bench does.
  10. Ha that was an offensive foul Lebron, stop your b****ing.
  11. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 10:59 PM) I've seen flagrants called on much more mild fouls That wasn't close to a flagrant.
  12. The replay system really f***in sucks there. Allowed Miami to set up their defense.
  13. Trading Reed actually makes a ton of sense to me.
  14. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:11 AM) Interesting if not ridiculous trade ideas here. Undervaluing our players because the Sox are slumping is not good baseball sense The Sox aren't slumping...they're bad. There's not point in hanging onto some of these guys and remaining in baseball hell.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 11:46 AM) Any word on Daniel Bryan? Very odd ending between him and Orton last night, it looked like he was legit hurt the way him and Orton reacted when the match was called I read it's a work, they're really putting over this concussion angle. Other random thoughts: Cesaro-Zeb is so money, I hope this gives Cesaro the push he really deserves. And I'm so in love with AJ. The end.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 03:53 AM) Good Raw. Brock/Punk makes sense but I'd hold off until SummerSlam. Ya, I'm pretty excited for Punk/Brunk but that should definitely be a summerslam match. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 18, 2013 -> 08:49 AM) Was going to tune into watch Mark Henry retire but apparently just a work? Yup and a pretty good one at that.
  17. Well I had a blast, crowd was amazing. I also thought Punk/Jericho was fantastic but I guess I'm alone on that one. And was I THAT drunk or did they try to pull off the double turn with Ziggler/Del-Rio?
  18. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 14, 2013 -> 01:40 PM) SuperCena will beat Ryback at Payback 2 out of 3. And no one will care. That match is going to blow but Cena is much better than Ryback and should be winning. I'm excited for Punk-Jericho, Bryan keeping his momentum going and Ziggler.
  19. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 15, 2013 -> 08:55 AM) I agree the great plays are nice and great, but I rather have a steady shortstop that makes all the routine plays and few a few awesome than the other way around. The awesome plays happen one in ten. You win with steady heads up players, I know thàt is obvious.. He gets to so many balls that other ss's don't get to. Yes he's frustrating but he's absolutely one of the best defensive shortstops in the league.
