  1. QUOTE (fathom @ May 25, 2013 -> 09:00 PM) That was worse than Pods not throwing out Chris Burke at home to end game 2 of the WS. Pods made up for it.
  2. Man Pierre was playing so shallow too. How embarrassing.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 25, 2013 -> 08:40 PM) A PP GOAL! TWO
  4. QUOTE (Y2HH @ May 25, 2013 -> 04:10 PM) Played some 3 on 3 (one on the bench for each team), and after the initial nervousness passed after such a long break in playing it all came back pretty fast. Ended up with 1 goal and 2 assists. And I can feel how sore I'm going to be tomorrow. But it feels good. Beat anybody up? On a side note, I just got done destroying legs today and following that up by treating myself to a steak bowl from Chipotle which actually fits in nicely with my weekly meal plan.
  5. Good thing Tyler didn't fall.
  6. QUOTE (Jake @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:26 PM) DON'T FALL DOWN TYLER Hawk is on awesome mode tonight.
  7. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:23 PM) So Indiana could have taken both games on the road from Miami. WOW. This is going to be a battle. I can't see the Pacers losing both in Indy. This is going at least 6 possibly 7. I still think Miami is going to win it but this is going to be a fun series.
  8. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:22 PM) It's f***ing great, great comedy Yup.
  9. f*** ya, Bron turnover city down the stretch this game.
  10. The Pacers have just been awful at executing at the end of quarters so far this series.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:15 PM) Thankfully our manager didn't even argue the call. He went out there.
  12. QUOTE (MAX @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:13 PM) It was a very close play. A blown call yes. But no cause to freak out. Wasn't that close. Easy to see in real time. He's an awful umpire.
  13. Well we won but we didn't. Then Hawk died.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:05 PM) Lance Stephenson's one-man possession with around 4 1/2 minutes left in the game looked like every park district basketball game I ever played in. Ya, that was pathetic.
  15. Just got home, how'd Johnny look?
  16. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 24, 2013 -> 03:33 PM) Start drinking Normally I would have but I'm challenging myself to go a month with out drinking. Haven't had a drink since May 4th and wont until June 8th. Weird, I know. And for the record, it's f***in awful. I hate not partying.
  17. QUOTE (Y2HH @ May 24, 2013 -> 04:11 PM) So, I started rollerblading again, practicing playing roller hockey, something I haven't done in a decade, and I picked it up pretty quickly again. Not sure where my confidence level would be in an actual game, but it's added a huge amount of cardio to my life, which I've always found boring. This removes that boredom, and now I'm getting cardio + weight training. I've shed like 10lbs in the last month, with no dietary changes. IE, I still eat ice cream, portillos, etc. Man, I miss roller hockey. Besides basketball, it was definitely my favorite sport to play.
  18. I just have no idea what to do with myself on my days off from work. Today I watched Saved by the Bell and Boy Meets world for like 3 hours, then went to the gym for an hr. Now I'm just sitting on my couch extremely bored. BOOOOORING.
  19. I didn't read the article and I have a ton of respect for Phil as a coach but if the headline is actually true...just wow.
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 09:23 AM) So the wife and I took a couple we know out on a bike ride yesterday. They aren't like huge or anything, just somewhat out of shape. We did our usual 20-miler - Prairie Path to Great Western Trail and back - seriously exactly 20 miles from our driveway. Holy crap, it's insane how out of shape people really are - given she and I are so active, the bike ride is seriously nothing. A ride that normally takes us an hour and forty minutes took two hours and fifty five minutes. They had to stop tons of times. My buddy had to walk the bike part of the way. His legs were dead. They were both completely f***ed after this effortless ride. It's nuts. I don't think people realize how hard biking is. When I first started getting back into shape a few years ago, I was running all the time and my cardio was decent for that, tried some biking and crapped out real quick. Not as easy as it looks. Speaking of tough cardio, the stairmaster has become my new love/hate relationship. I hop on that thing for 20 minutes every Wednesday and am just dying when I'm done, great work out. Anywho, I've really stepped up the intensity of my work outs the last 3 weeks, just been killing it in the weight room. Gotta keep it up.
  21. We got to play in the storm on Tuesday, that was a blast. My hitting is so much better this year than it has been in past years, hopefully that keeps up. My Tuesday team is pretty awesome, my Sunday team is quite average. Both real fun though.
  22. QUOTE (knightni @ May 23, 2013 -> 08:44 PM) Yep. Read the description. Hasn't that been around forever?
  23. f***in Howard. f***in post.
  24. Toews getting comfy in the penalty box.
