QUOTE (kev211 @ Jan 30, 2012 -> 10:34 PM) Awesome Raw to make up for a lackluster rumble. Kane-Cena continues to be awful and I'm not thrilled that we're getting hhh-taker again but orton-ziggs was real good, punk-bryan was incredible and I'm pumped for the punk-jericho feud.

Punk-Bryan absolute epicness ends with the start of the Punk-Jericho feud. Absolutely fantastic.

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 30, 2012 -> 09:01 PM) Yeah, I don't know. His shot selection has been a little better since getting back from injury, and he's been coming off the bench (which is MUCH better than starting), but this is clearly a fluke. Doesn't mean it isn't awesome, though! 5 boards for Love? Bizarro world for the Wolves though Rubio is still awesome.

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 30, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) Howard >>>>>>> Noah That's what happens when the two teams shoot a combined 35% from the floor. Edit: Holy s***, and a combined 49% from the free throw line. That's some impressive basketball.

QUOTE (SouthSideTeacher @ Jan 30, 2012 -> 08:19 PM) Noah's pretty close to a triple double tonight--after 4 games worth of double doubles. still probably won't be enough of an effort to silence the haters. let's get rid of Noah--and damned near everyone else-- so we could bring in Howard, right? Correct. Nobody is hating on Noah for saying that we would trade him for the best center in basketball.

Bracketbusters announced today, headlined by Murray State-SMC. Wanted to see Creighton-SMC but I won't complain. Should be a fun weekend as there are a ton of good mids this season.

Is PK close to retirement?
Buehrle and Konerko are both no brainers for a statue. AJ? No.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 30, 2012 -> 02:33 PM) How so? They got the ball and Chalmers shot 2 free throws as a result. Well it worked out for them but the play itself in which the refs blew the whistle screwed Miami, wade saved the ball back to one of his teammates(forgot who it was) who would have had a layup or brought the ball back out to kill more clock.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 30, 2012 -> 02:28 PM) Didn't we just learn that 3 superstars (or at worst, two superstars and one all star) with crap surrounding them is still not a guarantee to win it all? I don't get this trade the farm for Dwight stuff. No thanks. I'll take my chances with a healthy version of this years team. The Bulls should have won yesterday. That's despite the injuries and despite missing AT LEAST 6-7 lay-ups. Not contested floaters, but straight up lay-ups. Hamilton had about 4 on the break and Rose had 2-3. Nine times out of ten you get those to drop. Oh, and that game also included Lebron's ridiculous fall away three pointer with 2 seconds on the shot clock, and that complete screw job by the ref blowing the whistle and then Miami getting the ball. I'd say that was a B- effort by the Bulls and an A- effort from the Heat. And yet it was still decided in the final seconds. Rose-Howard is not Wade-Lebron, that comparison doesn't work. Oh and the refs blowing the whistle actually screwed the Heat not the Bulls.

If Dwight would sign an extension then this is a no brainer, you trade everything you have to except Derrick.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 10:36 PM) Well, if I had to pick between the two, I do like Evansville more. However, my best friend from college oversees all the food operations at Evansville's new arena, so I was rooting for the hometown team, so to speak. And for them to stop playing overtimes so he could go home Ahh gotcha. Was curious why a non mvc guy would bring up an extremely random valley game.

QUOTE (SuperSteve @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 10:17 PM) So I followed on a forum. Sheamus is one of my two favorites (Santino is the other) so that's neat! I can't wait to see highlights of Kofi, Ricardo, and the cobra versus socko too! Sheamus bores the hell out of me but oh well. Kofi's spot was cool, Morrison still has the coolest spot ever at last years rumble but Kingstons was neat too. And the goofball fest was fun as well. Besides that, it sucked.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 07:32 PM) This is not an excuse. If/when Luol suits up this season he'll be a f***ing completely worthless shadow of himself because he has a terrible, horrific, painful injury that has ruined him for this season. You sir are on the overreaction train today.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 07:31 PM) Nothing wrong with anything you said here. I'm just saying hanging tough today shorthanded doesn't really prove anything in the long run. I get the feeling some are using today's game as a precursor to something bigger down the road. If you thought the Bulls could beat the Heat, you thought that way before today's game. This I agree with. This game meant absolutely nothing in the long run for either team.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 07:16 PM) Meh. Again, I get the whole moral victory spin. The Bulls hung tough against a great team on the road without two key players. Then again, they still manged to lose this game with Wade, outside of a couple of fastbreak dunks, looking as bad as any player of his stature could possibly look (and it wasn't just Hamilton). It goes both ways. Those are two completely different things though. I'm certainly not convinced that we can beat Miami in a 7 game series but I definitely think we have a better shot this year than we did last year.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 06:04 PM) Yeah, I laughed out loud when she said that. It's one thing to say, "I once wrote a piece on..." and quite another to say "You may remember..." Hi, I'm Troy Mcclure... Anywho, felix and I have certainly had our disagreements about the Bulls and Rose specifically but I actually like this twolves team and because of that I appreciate the updates.

Speaking of taker, any idea who he's going to face at mania? Kane for the 95th time? And I think Jericho is going to win tonight. Agreed with punk-jericho selling itself but I don't think they're going to make the titles that much of an after thought at mania...
