  1. Yayers. Lets win this thing please.
  2. QUOTE(quickman @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 05:04 PM) i must be losing it, when was bmac in the game? He wasn't. Big WP there.
  3. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 05:04 PM) didn't those come against KC? And Cleveland.
  4. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 05:03 PM) Thornton, Mac, Politte, and maybe Burls are available. Matt threw a ton of pitches yesterday so he might not be available. Mac definitely is and lets hope we don't need to get to Cliff.
  5. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 05:02 PM) That was about as scary as it gets with a ball going to Pods in the sun. I was 90 percent sure he was going to drop that. Cmon Vaz, lets get out of this and some how win this thing.
  6. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 05:01 PM) I dont think that Dye would of passed up Gload if he was tagging at 3rd. Gload broke for home and vacated the base. Gload was tagging then Dye was barreling down on him and he got off the bag.
  7. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:59 PM) Dye was not the tying run. And Dye wasnt at 3rd. Yes he didnt run smart, but Gload is the goat on this play. I'm going to disagree a bit here because Dye was to 3rd base and if he passes Ross there then ya...
  8. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:58 PM) Did Dye tag up? Yup, tagged 3rd base.
  9. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:23 PM) I don't think he was ever on base with the Sox. Except game 4 of the world series.
  10. Strike zone all over the place now.
  11. Youk scares the crap out of me here.
  12. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:19 PM) Bobby used to be a starter. He can handle another inning. Ya, a lot of relievers used to be starters. Bobby still hasn't been a starter for 2(maybe 3) years now so he's not conditioned to do so anymore. EDIT: Also want to say that I'm not against the move at all because I'd still much rather have Bobby out there than Vaz.
  13. QUOTE(rangercal @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 04:18 PM) does this third inning of work mean Bobby may not pitch Tuesday? Hopefully.
  14. Seattle ties up the tiggies.
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 01:37 PM) I'm going for France in this game. I hope Zidane ends his INT career with a World Cup win. Or he could end his career by being an asshole and throw a head but for no reason.
  16. GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL GO ITALY
  17. Just win por favor. Lets keep the bottom of the order from killing us this game.
  18. w00t, Snakes on a Plane preview during the world cup pre game.
  19. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 08:35 PM) Brandon McCarthy still has shown me nothing really. I'd also like to ask about this. We throw a rookie pitcher into the middle of a pennant race last year when our lead was sinking fast, Brandon absolutely dominates, and he's shown you nothing?? This I don't understand.
  20. QUOTE(shoota @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 12:35 AM) And even at 91-92 he'd still be a better pitcher than Garcia. And of course he's proven that already this season.
  21. QUOTE(shoota @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 12:32 AM) Sure. McCarthy's a good pitcher, but if Ozzie plays favorites and won't let him start over worse pitchers, I'd be happy to trade him for Prior. Good point, but Prior's decrease in velocity has to do with recovering from injury while Freddy's loss has to do with either A) loss in ability, or B ) stopped taking performance enhancers. Whether it's reason A or B, Prior is much more likely to recover his velocity and if not, still be the better pitcher of the two. And it is very possible that all of the injuries have taken their toll on Mark and he will never get his velocity back.
  22. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 12:19 AM) This is true, I would say a .773 OPS is pretty damn respectable. He's starting to get locked in as well. His last two starts he has absolutely hammered the ball.
  23. QUOTE(shoota @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 12:25 AM) Very possible you're right, but I'd still prefer to take my chances with the guy I believe to be the better pitcher, Prior, than the one who is worse and has lost his fastball, Garcia. Prior since he's come back has been clocked at around 91ish fyi. He used to throw about 95-96, so.....
