  1. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 01:07 AM) If Paxson thinks he's the guy with the most potential in this draft, he'll probably pick him. Suprised you're not going down the LaMarcus = Chandler path here Sleepy. If you're going to compare anyone to Tyson, it's Tyrus. There will be one pissed off Rowand if the Bulls take Thomas in this draft . I'm torn on who I want the Bulls to draft. IMO Brandon Roy is and will be the best player in this draft but the Bulls need for a big man still out weighs the need for a big guard(though we need one of those as well). I won't complain with Roy or LA but anything else and I won't be happy(I know this is one of Paxson's bigger concerns ), unless there is a trade.
  2. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 11:38 PM) What the hell happened to them anyway? Everybody and their brother was expecting them to challenge for the division this year and they fell flat on their ass. Even Minnesota has gotten it together and is trying to make a move. What is Cleveland's problem? First, I take offense to that comment. Their problem is pitching, they lost a lot of key cogs from that staff last year including: Millwood, Elarton(not huge here), Riske, Rhodes, Howry. Their bullpen was such a huge part of their success last year and when you lose three of your better bullpen arms and your ace..you're going to have some issues.
  3. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 11:26 PM) Pending the Twins/Dodger agme tonight, the Sox and Tigers are 10-1 in there last 11 and if the Twins win tonight they would also be 10-1 in there last 11. The Royals entering today's game were even 7-3 in there last 10. How bout that central division The Indians still blow.
  4. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 10:56 PM) Contreras is undefeated and yet still doesnt make the list as starter? Glaus? Please. Eh, JC will probably start because of Ozzie but you can definitely make a case for others.
  5. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 10:49 PM) How can Aldridge possibly slip to ten!? If the Celtics pass on him, I'll be one unhappy camper. It's not going to happen(LA slipping to 10), there's no way imo.
  6. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 10:41 PM) I don't think the Tigers will fade at all, as a matter of fact, the numbers prove that it'd be nearly impossible to do so. But this whole thing is about track record, the Sox kicked ass last season and won the World Series where as the Tigers have sucked for quite some time now. It really doesn't make sense to compare the two at this point, simply based on this. I don't think the Tigers are going to fade but I don't see them winning the division, they're going to hang around for a while though. It's just hard for me to believe that their pitching can be this good all season long and in that respect the numbers do prove that to be possible. Rogers and Bonderman have track records the last few years of fading in the 2nd half and Verlander has never pitched over 130 innings in pro ball before. Make no mistake, this is a very good Tigers club but they have some pitchers notorious for 2nd half problems and because of that I just don't see them winning the central.

  9. Not pretty at all but we pulled it out. Our bullpen has become a strong point all of the sudden, it's very nice to see.
  10. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:27 PM) It wasn't too long ago Kelly Dransfeld stepped to the plate with the game on the line. And delivered.
  11. Great inning for Brandon, he continues to pitch well. Bobby end this game please.
  12. Bmac in, I'd prefer Neal for the whole inning but oh well..CMON MAC
