  1. BA back in the lineup(thank god): Pods Gooch PK JD AJP Rally one Ooooribe BA Freddy
  2. Boo, Arod goes walkoff for the Yanks when they were trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the 11th.
  3. Not a big deal for Kenny to be traveling with the team. Anyways, if Kenny pulls another deal for a reliever I think it'll be closer to July 31st. I think we'll wait and see how Cliff does when he comes back and if he looks even decent, I don't necessarily think you'll see Kenny make another trade for a reliever.
  4. QUOTE(JackTalkThai @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 02:12 PM) Because Lidge's dominant days of yesteryear are just a single HGH injection away. This really doesn't make any sense to me. His stuff is still completely there his head isn't anymore though. If he just completely lost his great stuff then I guess you could accuse him but I don't see how that makes any sense in his case.
  5. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 03:34 AM) Roy will be the best player out of this draft in his rookie season, but long - term someone like Gay or Thomas will probably be better IMHO. Gay is a freak but I don't think he has the desire to be a great player and I don't even want to get in to everything I dislike about Thomas but lets just say I don't think highly of him.
  6. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 03:14 AM) Navarro got injured, Martin took over, did better than expected, so the Dodgers couldn't really demote Martin. TB did very well here. Hendrickson's track record over the past few seasons not including this one is very average to say the least. I think both teams did pretty solid in this deal. The Drays got a nice young catcher and Seo isn't horrible(though he's been bad this year). I like what the Dodgers did too though. They might have overpaid a bit but Hendrickson is having a pretty solid season and with that division being wide open and L.A. really needing a starter this could put them over the top for now.
  7. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 01:07 AM) If Paxson thinks he's the guy with the most potential in this draft, he'll probably pick him. Suprised you're not going down the LaMarcus = Chandler path here Sleepy. If you're going to compare anyone to Tyson, it's Tyrus. There will be one pissed off Rowand if the Bulls take Thomas in this draft . I'm torn on who I want the Bulls to draft. IMO Brandon Roy is and will be the best player in this draft but the Bulls need for a big man still out weighs the need for a big guard(though we need one of those as well). I won't complain with Roy or LA but anything else and I won't be happy(I know this is one of Paxson's bigger concerns ), unless there is a trade.
  8. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 11:38 PM) What the hell happened to them anyway? Everybody and their brother was expecting them to challenge for the division this year and they fell flat on their ass. Even Minnesota has gotten it together and is trying to make a move. What is Cleveland's problem? First, I take offense to that comment. Their problem is pitching, they lost a lot of key cogs from that staff last year including: Millwood, Elarton(not huge here), Riske, Rhodes, Howry. Their bullpen was such a huge part of their success last year and when you lose three of your better bullpen arms and your ace..you're going to have some issues.
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 11:26 PM) Pending the Twins/Dodger agme tonight, the Sox and Tigers are 10-1 in there last 11 and if the Twins win tonight they would also be 10-1 in there last 11. The Royals entering today's game were even 7-3 in there last 10. How bout that central division The Indians still blow.
  10. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 10:56 PM) Contreras is undefeated and yet still doesnt make the list as starter? Glaus? Please. Eh, JC will probably start because of Ozzie but you can definitely make a case for others.
  11. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 10:49 PM) How can Aldridge possibly slip to ten!? If the Celtics pass on him, I'll be one unhappy camper. It's not going to happen(LA slipping to 10), there's no way imo.
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 10:41 PM) I don't think the Tigers will fade at all, as a matter of fact, the numbers prove that it'd be nearly impossible to do so. But this whole thing is about track record, the Sox kicked ass last season and won the World Series where as the Tigers have sucked for quite some time now. It really doesn't make sense to compare the two at this point, simply based on this. I don't think the Tigers are going to fade but I don't see them winning the division, they're going to hang around for a while though. It's just hard for me to believe that their pitching can be this good all season long and in that respect the numbers do prove that to be possible. Rogers and Bonderman have track records the last few years of fading in the 2nd half and Verlander has never pitched over 130 innings in pro ball before. Make no mistake, this is a very good Tigers club but they have some pitchers notorious for 2nd half problems and because of that I just don't see them winning the central.
  13. Guys with a legit shot from our club: PK Mark Count Rally one Bobby Gooch Dye Thome and Pablo of course is a lock.

  15. Not pretty at all but we pulled it out. Our bullpen has become a strong point all of the sudden, it's very nice to see.
  16. JOEEEEEEEE CREDE. Ugly win but a win.
  17. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 27, 2006 -> 08:27 PM) It wasn't too long ago Kelly Dransfeld stepped to the plate with the game on the line. And delivered.
  18. Great inning for Brandon, he continues to pitch well. Bobby end this game please.
  19. Bmac in, I'd prefer Neal for the whole inning but oh well..CMON MAC
