  1. QUOTE(fathom @ May 22, 2006 -> 07:26 PM) Haha....way to keep it in the park Garland. How can a sinker baller give up so many homers? Had to throw a fastball because the 2-1 pitch was called a ball when it was a strike. Now, wake the f*** up Jon.
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 22, 2006 -> 07:25 PM) Bulls***...talk about a squeeze job with Frank at the plate. Yup, ump got him.
  3. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 22, 2006 -> 07:18 PM) 3/3 with a double. Not exactly killing IMO, but not terrible either. Come on JD, make the 2 out walks killers. I'm almost positive that he has a homer or two on 3-0 pitches.
  4. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 22, 2006 -> 07:16 PM) Thome = only guy on the team who should be allowed to swing on a 3-0 count. Konerko has killed 3-0 pitches this year.
  5. Who gets a bigger ovation tonight: Frank or Brian?
  6. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 22, 2006 -> 07:09 PM) Double play ball por favor. de nada.
  7. Ya, it's bs. The brother of one of my best friend's is working for mlb right now and he said the big talk right now in the commissioners office is how long Barrett is going to be gone.
  8. I would pay a lot of money to watch AJ get his hands on Mariotti.
  9. QUOTE(Balance @ May 22, 2006 -> 12:46 PM) Exactly. Zambrano practically does the Macarena after striking someone out, but he can't take someone celebrating after homering off of him? Hypocrite. And I have to say that AJ's reaction seems pretty normal considering it was just out of the reach of Pierre, not to mention that it put us ahead at the time.
  10. My god, this has to be a joke.
  11. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:47 PM) I remember the roar after the Burke-Hunter incident because nothing was done to retaliate. Well somebody retaliated and it was Anderson. I've got no problem with getting a teammate's back. And you can definitely tell he gained the respect of a lot of his teammates, especially AJ. He stood up for his teammate and that's why he's earned a lot of respect.
  12. QUOTE(SoxAce @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:46 PM) The only person that I feel sorry for the most is Count. He was charged with 4 earned and we all know that he pitched WAY better than his final stats indicate. Of course that's how baseball is and I will continue to love this game. His era skyrocked after that horrendous performance.
  13. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:37 PM) What matters more than results is remaining healthy. That 95 mph fastball and tight curveball will lure someone into foolishly giving him an extended deal. Couldn't agree more there, I don't think there is any doubt about that. The starting pitching market is just retarded at this point.
  14. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 21, 2006 -> 11:37 PM) Game is on Cotts, sorry. I understand Uribe made a bad throw, but after that play, I swore when I looked at the scoreboard in my seat it said 4-3 Sox. Cotts said after the game he made two horrible pitches to Barrett and Jones, and thats what happens sometimes. Cotts will be fine, and I dont think this one goes on Oz. Cotts sucked. He knows, I know it, you know. Will get Oakland. Juan deserves some blame but yes... I definitely agree with you. Neal still had the lead and he got hit, there still isn't anyone else in that situation I would have rather had in then Neal and that includes Bobby. Like you said, we lost this game and we just have to move on.
  15. Don't waste your money on a cubs suck T-shirt.
