  1. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 02:37 PM) Sweet bunt. Sweet post.
  2. The Tigers outscored the Twins 33 to 1 in that series. And I thought we dominated them
  3. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 01:48 PM) Well, can't expect to win with this crap lineup (again). We had a chance for our first sweep since what, 1992? Too bad. ^^^
  4. Urine flies out. Sux down 2 after 1 and a half.
  5. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 01:51 PM) Stupid play, game further out of reach. You really shouldn't post in game threads. You just make yourself look bad.
  6. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) Judy showed up today. So much for a sweep. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 01:48 PM) Well, can't expect to win with this crap lineup (again). We had a chance for our first sweep since what, 1992? Too bad. Quick game I guess.
  7. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 01:45 PM) Leadoff knock Please Jon, prove me wrong when I have an awful feeling about you today You have an awful feeling about him everyday.
  8. One of their top prospects and one of the reasons that they let Bengie go like retards. Mathis is very talented but not ready yet.
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 12:48 PM) You ever been hit with a fastball in the back of the calf? Let alone have to try and play catcher the next day? I'm pretty sure he was limping pretty bad when he got out of bed this morning. Sucks for him too cause it'll probably feel worse sitting around compared to if he played.
  10. Looks like the Widge has become Jon's personal catcher.
  11. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 07:28 AM) AJ: "I don't know why he hit me. I don't know what I did. I didn't do anything to show him up. I just ran to first. Maybe he should hit the guy who rolled the ball back to the pitcher." Gotta love AJ.
  12. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 10:54 AM) Who the Eff have the Tigers been beating up on? 1.5 games back? wow. The entire AL is pretty tight right now, has everyone just gotten fat off of KC? They recently swept the Mariners and are currently beating the s*** out of the Twins.
  13. QUOTE(SoxPhan7 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 10:45 PM) I know rooney is gone and will be loved. But do you guys think there is any chance to change the post game threads from "and thats a white sox winner" to Hawk's new, "And this ballgame is OVA!!!" Because i dont know about you guys but i luuuv it when he says that. just a thought. This worked last year. No need to change.
  14. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 10:39 PM) The count is 4-0 with a 1.45 ERA. WOW Obviously the 1.45 era isn't going to stay there but he's going to be this dominate all year.
  15. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 10:36 PM) If we win tomorrow, we have the exact same record as last April, 17-1. plus 6.
  16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 12:23 PM) The concern with the Tigers, like many teams, is still injuries. Rogers, Young, Ordonez, all have pretty bad recent injury histories, but thus far they've been lucky. There's also going to be the usual smattering of other problems, and again, some of those haven't hit yet. Who knows when IRoid will start breaking down, etc. Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Heh, trust me I know that. Like I said, it's taken a lot of convincing for me to even believe Detroit will have a chance to finish over .500. Like I said, I don't think they're going to be serious contenders come september but they'll hang around for a while imo.
  17. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 11:57 AM) Man....Tigers already up 8-0 vs the Twins. They are starting to look like a scary team. Great pitching and pretty damn good hitting. And a great manager. I've been one to say they'll be safely in 4th by the allstar break but I'm starting to think they can hang around, mostly because I really like their bullpen. I don't think they're going to be serious contenders come september but I think they can hang around for a while.
  18. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 11:00 AM) Ummmm, I don't think there is a person in baseball that would tell you Vladdy is a better defensive outfielder than Dye. Vladdy may be the worse right fielder in all of baseball (defensively). The guy is hideous out there and thats coming from someone who goes to 30 or so Angel games a year. People think he's a good defender because of his arm, I swear. The guy is absolutely horrendous out there.
  19. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 10:48 AM) ??? I always thought pretty highly of Magglio's defense, at least, pre-knee injury... Maggs was a very solid defender.
