  1. I'm rooting for and picked Iowa State for one reason tonight.... ND's ugly ass uniforms!
  2. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 07:07 PM) What made that play so great is they were hurried trying to break the press and about a half step from being out of control. The guy that made the pass, Comer, I think, would have been hard pressed to stay under control or get a decent look at the basket due to his momentum from running down the pass.
  3. Did you see that lob/dunk? Holy s***!!!! Might have been one of the best plays I've ever seen, especially under pressure!
  4. Holy 20 point leads Batman! Someone stole UNC's 20 point lead. It's a tie ball game!!
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 06:21 PM) 13 mins left and this maybe over. GTown losing composure Don't count your chickens damnit!
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 05:37 PM) Not for the top 2 teams, lol. They should really have re-seeding in the tournament. no, No, NO!!!!!
  7. Gotta love the NCAA Tournament. Just caught myself openly rooting for the Illini and having fun doing so. I guess anything is possible. LOL
  8. QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 01:11 PM) Gottfried is a bad coach. All that talent and he blew it. Yep, he underachieved at Bama too. I was pretty surprised when he got the NC State job.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 01:21 PM) Why couldn't they just switch Cal & Oregon? They are in the same conference, so affiliation wouldn't have affected it. That would have solved the whole problem. Cal had already played UNLV which made it worse. Oregon also played in San Jose. They could have switched them just to avoid the rematch but it wouldn't have changed the location.
  10. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 12:39 PM) Sometimes it happens. I wish it would happen against Indiana once in awhile!
  11. Wisconsin can't hit the broad side of a freakin' barn. I can't believe they lost to those piss ants from the SEC.
  12. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 12:08 PM) Well before they changed it sure, but they ended up a 12. Either way, an 11/12 shouldn't have that advantage. The problem is the 12 seeds are pretty much at the end of the S curve (last at larges) so they have to make the bracket fit somehow. When Cal and Oregon got bumped, it created problems due to the bracketing rules. To fix it they would likely have had to go back and rework the bracket and move other teams at least a few seed levels back. I'm guessing they get to the point that its a pick your poison kind of situation and keeping Cal close to home was better than potentially having to move several other teams. It's unfair to UNLV to a point, but the bottom line is UNLV travels well and that wasn't a long trip for them either and they were a much higher seed.
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 07:37 AM) How does a 12 seed get to play 30-40 miles from campus? Cal was an 11 seed
  14. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 04:48 AM) No fee to remove them, but if they sell and you don't have them anymore, it will cost you because they will upgrade the buyer, and you will have to make up the difference in price. Thanks. I actually sold them yesterday and took them off stub hub. Didn't get rich, but made it worth my while to buy in October and sell in March.
  15. Harvard over New Mexico is looking more likely by the minute! DONE: Down go the Lobos! Now I am second guessing my pick of SD St over Oklahoma tomorrow. The mighty Mountain West had a bad day.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 08:31 PM) I turned it on after Cal/UNLV ended so didn't hear that. Do we know what time the game will be Sat? They just mentioned it again. Akron's starting PG got arrested for trafficking marijuana and was dismissed the first week of March. Two players tonight were unavailable due to the flu and a 3rd with back spasms. They didn't say 4 starters, but said 4 key players not playing tonight.
  17. Great defense Mizzou is playing! That or Colorado St is an offensive juggernaut and someone forgot to tell me.
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 08:20 PM) Geez, VCU. Look loads better than they did vs Saint Louis last week. Competition? I believe Akron is also missing a player or three. One got hurt, I think and they said something in the broadcast before about the flu. Game was over before it started.
  19. QUOTE (greasywheels121 @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 04:23 AM) Chicagoland Comcast: 189: CBS 204: TNT 219: TBS 320: TRU Greasy!!
  20. The best thing about Louisville being the #1 overall seed is we'll never have to see the god awful road version of these ADIDAS uniforms!
  21. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 04:20 PM) Why didn't Davidson...just make Marquette foul them? The guy that had the ball wasn't their best FT shooter. The Davidson guy was wide open and it would have taken 2-3 seconds for Marquette to catch up to him and foul, but the pass was too far out front. Think wide open WR 30 yards down the field behind the D and the QB overthrows him by 10 yards.
  22. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 03:00 PM) http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/?ga...drcmiKVsilOrw5y You cant be expected to work today As Dan Dakich said... Everyone should skip work today and tomorrow. If you get fired, it means you weren't that good!
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 20, 2013 -> 06:55 PM) Here is a scholarship chart I found via Google. Two of their sophomores aren't on scholarship, which puts them at 8 scholarship players. When Noel leaves that puts them at 7. Makes sense. My question is how do you get 10 McDonald's All-Americans to play together as one. We shall see. I think it's a lot harder to do it without senior leadership than people think.
  24. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Mar 20, 2013 -> 06:35 PM) That's the wrong way to look at it because it assumes everyone is at the scholarship limit. The better way is to look at returning players. Indiana has 10 scholarship players if absolutely everyone came back, Kentucky only has 8. Kentucky needs 1 player to leave besides Noel (although they're still recruiting). That's why I am asking. Kentucky's roster shows 13 players. With 2 seniors and Noel leaving, are you saying they only have 11 on scholarship right now? That would take them down to 8 as you say. I don't know UK's roster. Who is on the 13 man roster but not on scholarship?
  25. QUOTE (farmteam @ Mar 20, 2013 -> 06:07 PM) I'm guessing he was referring to a certain time when Tyler Griffey was able to take an uncontested layup at the end of a game.... Why would you zone in that situation and give someone a clean look at a game winning shot? Obviously it didn't work out as planned in the game you mentioned, but that was due to a communication issue.
