  1. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 11, 2007 -> 12:23 AM) Tony's dead. Remember he said that your mind goes blank before you die. He just got shot The screen blacked out from the audience point of view. It is not over for Tony, it is over for us, the viewers. The Sopranos live.
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 07:07 PM) Geico caveman?
  3. I need a new avatar. can someone take a manly looking pic of Amanda Beard and photoshop a beard for an avatar? Thanks
  4. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 03:44 PM) Broxton is a future closer and Billingsley is a future starter, they are NOT middle relievers. You trade Dye for your, talented players because he's a pending free agent and will not be with the team beyond this season. If you can get players of the Billingsley/Broxton caliber for a guy who won't be with the team 3.5 months from now, you do it. Im speaking mainly on Linebrink. ( I know linebrink is a stud, but he will be a FA soon too. ) I like Billingsley/Broxton but would not do a straight up deal. If we can get BOTH of them and add a little on our end, I would do that. I just hate to lose a guy who went .315/44/120 just a season ago . You don't trade a guy like that straight up that easy. Funny thing is, if Dye had that season in red sox rather than white, he would have been so hyped up by now that we probably could get BOTH Billingsley/Broxton. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 03:44 PM) I pray this is deep, thick sarcasm. I pray that you post another pic , so that we can make another soupboy avatar.
  5. s*** no! No to relievers! If we trade Dye thats a white flag to the season. We might as well get some quality spects and NOT MRs. What is the point of MRs if we trade one of our top bats?
  6. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 12:46 PM) I kind of hope so. I love Cole Hamels. You hope he throws a perfect game against the sox?
  7. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 06:45 PM) Speaking of the Padres...Khalil Greene was someone that I was hoping we'd trade for last offseason, in exchange for Crede. He'd be a monster outside of PetCo. I like that Idea. Greene would be great here. The other idea of linebrink and Cameron makes me want to puke.
  8. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 03:29 PM) I saw it. Not ashamed at all. She wasnt as bad as you would think in the body, she is just a brown bagger If you're speaking of chyna, I hear a photo is running around the net with what appears to be a penis I don't think you can brown bag that

    Rambo

    I don't know what to make of it. I was a huge Rambo fan as a kid. This Rambo looks old and out of shape I'm still pretty excited to go see it.
  14. This is one of the greatest Films I have seen in a very long time. Maybe you should worry about quentin tarantino a little more. At least Gibsons movies have meaning with all the death involved.
  15. Happy Bday to one of my favorite Posters here. Have a good one, Big Guy!
  16. Let's just say he would be a good bet to make the HOF if he reaches expectations. It is still 10 years too soon to make those type of predictions.
  17. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:30 AM) It helps to speak English well... and sammy sosa spoke it just fine for Pepsi.
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 07:23 PM) Pujols is only in his 7th full year of MLB service, and the Cardinals were smart enough to get him signed to a big, long-term deal of reasonable value after like 3 years of service time, so that they wouldn't go rapidly from him at $5 mil or so a year to him at $18 mil a year, which at the time was a very good deal for Mr. Pujols to sign based on the average salaries in MLB and the fact that it's always a good idea to get signed to a contract early since you never know when an injury could crop up (Hi Mr. Crede). I understand that part, I just figure he is a pretty marketable guy.
  19. How dare you question the GM skills of all of us posters! Some of us have over 5k Posts!! Who do you think you are?
  20. some other things to add: If Barry Bonds were a halfway decent guy he would be at least 4th on this list, easy. How the hell is Pujols only 44? Should be top 10 in sports. How Did Oscar Rape Floyd out of so much money? Will we ever see a UFC fighter make this list? Jalen Rose on the list is pretty comical.
  21. How did Tiger Make 100 mil in endorsements and Peyton Manning only 13 mil? It seems like Manning is on TV every 2 minutes.
  22. I love rock, but white washed is the best
