QUOTE(WilliamTell @ May 14, 2006 -> 11:09 PM) What a night, the pink bats, Uribe's great play with part of the bat flying at him , and Uribe going 3 for 4. A crazy game, but a great one. Instant classic in my book for the Sox. Good call. Forgot about that one.

What a great game for any baseball fan. Just wanted to congratulate Buehrle on hanging in there and Ozzie with sticking with him . Marks first win since 4/21 Here is a insert from espn (as most of you already probably heard) Congrats to JD with his 200th career hr. Along with the triple play and the pink bats, this is one that will be forever stored in the memory bank.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 14, 2006 -> 10:33 PM) A lot of Sox fans who grew up watching baseball in the 90's became Sox fans because of him. Just because you don't like him for your own reasons doesn't mean you have to b**** about Thomas every f***ing time his or Thome's name are brought up. This is the modern day attendance thread, the next time you see Frank's name posted on the site do us all a favor and just ignore it because most people are getting sick of reading your bulls***. well.f***ing.said

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 14, 2006 -> 07:52 PM) You Frank bashers bring up the dumbest arguments against those of us who have supported him. "You guys are so stupid 'cuz you like Thomas and would rather have him than Thome." "You guys like him, but none of you are actually gonna go see him get inducted." "I hope he wears an A's uni into the HOF!" Fine, you don't like him. Just, please, stop spewing useless crap on the subject, like you guys have been doing for the past five months. I'd also like to point out that wsf101 was the one who started the s***-stirring in this thread with this dumbass post (hehe, what else is new?). You guys bring it upon yourselves, really... But, I thought admins were always right?

QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 14, 2006 -> 05:37 PM) I doubt any of you actually go to Cooperstown to watch Frank get inducted. :rolly

1 it's way too early 2 This diagram makes no sense in the sense of Frank and carl would not have the same ab's (because they pretty much would split time at DH if they were still here)

Charlotte 6, Louisville 4 Associated Press LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Tim Redding overcame a shaky start and pitched seven strong innings to lift the Charlotte Knights to a 6-4 win over the Louisville Bats in an International League game on Saturday night. Fields, Ernie Young and Pedro Lopez each had two hits for Charlotte. Pedro Lopez each had two hits for Charlotte. Jesse Gutierrez had two hits for the Bats, including a three-run homer in the first.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 12, 2006 -> 05:25 PM) Shocking Frank was taken to a hospital after the game and diagnosed with having sand in his vagina. The Big Skirt has been doing that s*** for 5 years now. f*** him. Everything good he did for the organization was more than cancelled out by his big mouth. If and when he ever makes the hall of fame I hope they send his sorry ass in an A's uniform. We dont want anything to do with him anymore. Nuke, I love ya. But your full of s***, and tonight you can eat the s*** you usually dish out. I will never have your back in any dissing of frank. Plus, I will inviite you to to a JackD voyage the weekend he is inducted (yes a weekend trip to coop with a few bottles of jd) . How dare you nuke

QUOTE(knightni @ May 12, 2006 -> 12:53 PM) 1. Are you bored with fantasy baseball and wish that it was faster? 2. Are you a strategy nut in baseball video games? 3. Do you use AOL IM? 4. Are you over 15? If you said "yes" to these 4 questions, then we could use you! Active OOTP Baseball Sim League in it's 5th season (going on 6th) is having expansion for 2010 soon and we need two owners. QUOTE(WinningUgly85 @ May 10, 2006 -> 03:08 PM) you know what we do. We should drive by wrigley field, right by the protest and hold up a sign that says Grinder ball rule number 1908: While we parade, they protest. 1-0 Good guys. Honking the horn. I'll do it.

What does Charlie have to do during his stint to stay up, if anything? Who would he replace eventually? Just posting this in advance, because everybody else will if he pitches a gem tonight.
