QUOTE(TLAK @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 01:29 PM) After games of 4/28/2006. Link My browser didn't like it under SoxTalk, so I made it a link. Olmedo Saenz is on but not Frank?

QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ May 1, 2006 -> 11:47 PM) He will play tomorrow and play real hard. I give him major props for his post season performance thus far. The regular season is a different sitution. I know he will play hard.I never questioned his heart. he's a tender little guy. He still gets beat up and whatnot. Anyway, uh... so we still feelin' pretty good about this, uh, -piece set here?

QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ May 1, 2006 -> 11:13 PM) Can you handle shaq all game???? Im not talking about the ankle or the series. Im just Saying he is the kerry wood of the bulls

Chandler wuss? Yes

QUOTE(The Critic @ May 1, 2006 -> 08:57 PM) He may receive it, but he hasn't earned it. Oversensitive or not, Frank Thomas was the greatest offensive force in White Sox history, and if people boo that, I just think they're wrong. Yeah, I better not go to the game that night. Dont want to do something stupid to my fellow "white sox fans".

u guys still taking requests?

QUOTE(WCSox @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 02:35 PM) They're beginning to remind me of the '03 Royals. I doubt it. I see detroit winning 90-95 games.

The following players all have an argument to make it in some form (so far). Thome Konerko Dye Iguchi AJ (if he keeps the avg up above .350 lol) Crede Buehrle Contreras Vasquez
-
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) The whole article is BS, 'cuz Frank is a clubhouse cancer and bad teammate. Right? Right? wait, so Kw may have streteched the TRUTH?

QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 11:32 PM) I know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, thats why i used 2 of them. Oh yeah and i was just trying to think why you would hate Favre. I came up with this. Its all jealousy, you wish you could have a QB like favre. Let's see what do you want in a QB. 1. Durability. Favre-Greatest of all time at that. Bears-They got a QB made of glass in Grossman, a QB who just came off a season ending Injury, and Orton 2.Talent Favre- 3 MVP's, Top 5 in QB Wins, Top 5 in Passing TDs, Top 5 in Passing Yards Bears-Having a habit of throwing more INTs then TDs, no MVP, nothing really 3.Character Favre-Great Guy does a lot of charity events Bears-They are good guys as well so its about even. 4.Winning Favre- 3 MVP awards 1 Super Bowl title Two NFC titles Six division crowns 10 playoff berths 12 winning seasons Bears- I dont think they have any QB that started and won a playoff game. Facts are Facts. Though, Favre may be an upgrade of what the Bears have for 2006 . But, it is not so significant where it would merit any jealusy at all. I won't deny what Favre has accomplished, a Hall of fame career. But you are dillusional if you expect him to play near the level that earned him the Label FUTURE HALL OF FAMER. With that O-Line you guys have, he will spend more time on his back then the Endzone.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 10:51 PM) After having polar opposites views last night, this was exactly the post I made earlier today. Beckett has a place on Fathom's Hall of Fame wall for life. glad we can agree on something
-
QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 10:52 PM) Becasue guys like TO want the attention Favre doesn't and if you had a decsion to make it may take you a while as well. This was going to affect the rest of his life,a nd you know what he made it before the draft, so he doesnt deserve all this crap he gets. Commas never hurt anybody.
-
why all the becket hate? I will ALWAYS have a place in my heart for the 2003 marlins and Beckett is definately towards the top of that list.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 12:13 AM) I put this here because i figured it would get answered faster... Well about an hour ago i put more ram in my computer and now all the threads look like that. Just shows up as the first post and then it has it where you have to click on each individual post that a person makes... would take me forever to have to click on each one. None of my soxtalk settings have been changed... and i even cleared my cache for just for s***s and giggles... qwerty, That happens to me when ever I run a soxtalk google search.

QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) No Chandler?? There's always next year?? Blame Canada. It would take all the writes to be real blockheads (or hammerheads) to vote him -
QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 11:22 PM) How? I simply can't FATHOM how anyone who knows a lick about baseball would say that. I dont care for an all star team. I care for a winning team. Thats like saying you would rather have Vitor Martinez over AJ. I would agree, but not for our situation.
-
QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 11:22 PM) Did I miss something? Last time I checked, Uribe went hitless in the series. did I miss something? Last time I checked you have 15,000 posts and Ozzie has 1 World Series Ring.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 11:20 PM) Greg...we're not talking about actually acquiring Sizemore. This is a decade old argument we've had with jphat that he'd rather have Pods as a leadoff hitter than Sizemore. overall I would rather have sizemore. but for our situation, I kind of have to agree with jphat.
