  1. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 10:19 PM) I know I know, I just find a Depaul fan talking smack funny. I find a willie harris fan giving any sort of opinion even funnier...
  2. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 03:44 PM) We lose Boston is one of a couple teams we matchup horribly with Stupid posting up guards Nice.
  3. QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 04:56 AM) You apparently have no clue what he was brought it for. You knew Duhon would be starting and playing as much as he has? Damn, you're good. Duhon is obviously taking up a lot of minutes that we brought him in for, and rightfully so. He also could have been a little more useful when Deng went down, but a rookie, and better player, got those minutes too. I guess we brought "it" to warm the bench. What a great 11th man to have...
  4. QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 24, 2005 -> 08:51 PM) You thought pike would be shooting better than over 40% from three along with solid defense? Your the only one then. His 4.5 PPG have blown me away...
  5. Well, you never know who's going to fit in and help out... I thought Othella would do a lot less than her has and Piatkowski would be doing a lot more... I'd have to watch Harrington a lot more to have a better opinion about him. All I can go by is seeing a tiny bit of him one game and mostly box score numbers... His numbers just haven't impressed. Maybe Curry loses even more weight over the summer and Tyson can bulk up? I think Pax would have to weigh his options and consider if we really would be a better team with, say, Harrington or Marshall and Dalembert or keeping Eddy and getting a Bobby Simmons... I don't know. I want the BEST option rather than change for the sake of satisfying the Eddy haters...
  6. QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 24, 2005 -> 02:59 AM) You forget davis and you are acting like rahim does not have a big enough build. Hope he's not injury-prone...6'9 is a bit undersized and he's been missing games left and right... I like having Curry over not having a true center. There aren't many true centers that can score like he can. The Bulls have been winning with him. Skiles' minute distribution is getting a little ridiculous...I'm ready to see Curry and Chandler starting and getting into a nice rythm...
  7. Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Tyson at C...LOL...
  8. QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 24, 2005 -> 12:32 AM) Paxson really wants a big man that can shoot and go inside. I see him being the talk of the summer for the bulls. He can also board and block pretty well which is always nice. Just if we could find a sucker that wants an expiring contract ( davis) we would be in awesome shape. He's putting up average numbers on a team where he should be there number one option not that Employee No. 8 is gone. He really hasn't shown a whole lot. Josh Smith and Childress are talented, but they're still young and raw, so it's not like they're taking any shots away from him. I would take Donyell over him. As far as big men, I'd rather see Curry and Chandler getting more minutes... And yeah, I can see Donyell starting in front of Deng if he's putting up the numbers he has the past 20 games or so. Donyell has done a lot more with the minutes he's gotten and Carter being traded than Harrington has with 'Toine being traded. I mean, it seems as if tyronne lue has been scoring more than he has...
  9. I'm still wondering who that asian girl is too...
  10. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) It involved gangs apparently... Can't wait to hear that they were Sox fans...
  11. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 11:24 AM) I really think it was an honest question. Sleepy joined late January and might not have seen him post before. No need to be jumping down each other's throats yet . Yep, that about sums it up. I'm just here to do the Super Bowl Shuffle...
  12. I just saw the video... Uhh...they're not bad... I've done worse.
  13. I was just wondering who he was. The posting name sounded interesting. I wasn't expecting that sort of reaction. And yes, you've been here longer than me...
  14. Can't wait for the rejection story...
  15. The only name that jumped out is Larry Hughes, and he's having an amazing year. He should make the All-Defensive First Team after he locks up the steals crown... We don't have enough for him either. I was thinking of Joe Johnson it terms of a sign-and-trade, I guess...There's just so much we could speculate about... Pax better not pull a ron mercer, eddie robinson, or a jalen rose trade on us... Let's finally start getting maximum value if we're going to trade instead of dumping guys as we've done the past few years...
  16. Good thread... Crawford is the better scorer, but Hinrich is obviously the better player overall. I want to see Eddy succeed here as much as anyone, but he doesn't deserve a big contract. I just don't want to see him go until we have a SOLID replacement for him (and no, nobody will trade the NUMBER ONE pick for him). I'd like to see us go after Joe Johnson (for the right price) or Bobby Simmons (DEPAUL ). Curry for Simmons and Wilcox would have been awesome when it was being rumored. It would be nice to pick up a GOOD player over the offseason, but I already get the feeling we won't do s***... Kwame Brown sucks. Eddy is more valuable, by far...
  17. s***, I could have made a nice amount of money reselling if I had bought tickets when I was contemplating it...
  18. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2004 @ Mar 21, 2005 -> 11:11 PM) With what money? The Lakers would have to give up Odom and probably Butler to have any shot at Amare. I also can't see Amare wanting to play with a ball hog like Kobe over Nash. Is he an unrestricted fa? I don't see him going anywhere. I can see joe johnson leaving, but Amare is the Suns right now. I doubt they'll be dumb enough to lose him.
  19. QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:02 AM) You are already set for life so it shouldn't change your decision. Very few people turn down the bigger money, no matter what profession... And yes, there are exceptions to that.
  20. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:30 AM) Wrong buddy. He was pissed off because he lost out on a recruit. No one in the Big Ten liked the guy and everyone saw him as a rat, especially after the incident. Even Dickie V thinks he's a rat which is why he never comments on him. The fact of the matter is Ill. got caught with other infractions from the investigation. They're not exactly innocent... And Dickie V's opinion is about as credible as... s***, I couldn't come up with anything.
