Isn't it basically 1.4 for a road win and .6 for a home win since majors don't like to go on the road against competitive mid-majors? I obviously didn't read the article.

Rod Strickland? Winner...

ESPN article jinx? His shooting has been worse than usual...

Why bench Eddy the whole 4th quarter if you're going to lose 3 consecutive games anyways? They couldn't find an offense last night yet Curry stayed on the bench. C'mon, Skiles...

too bad

They will NOT give up the NUMBER ONE pick for Eddy. A sign and trade scenario would probably be more along the lines of the Crawford trade, although I don't see us trading Eddy. Judging from the low-ball offers for him that were being proposed earlier in the season, we'd probably only be able to get serviceable players like we did getting Othella. But maybe he's serious about staying. A core of young guys like Smith, Childress, and possibly Bogut sounds fine for Hawks. This isn't like the NFL where there's enough talent to trade down or anything...You tend to keep the number one pick. And no, we can't give Tyson whatever he wants either. He's just not that good...

QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Mar 5, 2005 -> 02:02 PM) louisville's defense is either that good or depauls offense is just terrible because diener couldnt get any shots, it also didnt help that everyone picked up their dribble really quickly I can answer that. The DePaul offense sucks, as does every other facet of their game.... Diener is a jump-shooter, yet he feels the need to attempt to create his own shot. I guess Leitao hasn't told him he's slow... One of the problems is that Diener needs open looks. He rarely gets them, accept off of screens, which we do alot, because there is little to no dribble penetration or a post presence. The team tends to stand around and pass up top from side to side with a couple of screens. Very little cutting... Between Q and Diener forcing up shots, this team is a disappointment. Nobody is clutch in that offense. -
QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 10:53 PM) what a game! I dont know who I love more, Tyson or ben! Seriously?

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 10:45 PM) Eddy Curry. 9 points, 0 rebounds. I dare you to offer him a big contract Atlanta. He's so damn frustrating...

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 09:13 PM) OT: Dwight Howard has 20 points and 15 boards. Damn he's gonna be good. He's still lacking in consistency... I've been watching his numbers since he's on my fantasy team. Not bad for being the lowest player on my team. When Hughes came off the DL, I had to choose who to drop from Dwight (well, I mildly considered), Donyell, and Tyson. Tyson made it easy with his s***ty numbers these past few games and the nice middle finger incident...

Great article on how horrible weber is at recruiting: http://www.cbs.sportsline.com/collegebaske...l/story/8243060 A number one team and big-time recruits still aren't interested? He does deserve credit for doing what he's doing with self's recruits, but it's not looking too good after this year. This is the year for them to win it all... Good luck. If they play like thay have been, I can't see anybody beating them. If not... -

QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 4, 2005 -> 02:29 AM) Fish dbaho, he never signed up. But that site it pimp. They just added this points feature and you can save it up to buy stuff from the store. You can also steal money from other members, give rep points, challenge people in the arcade, etc. They are also adding sub forums for baseball. It is turning into a sports forum not just strickly a basketball forum. I do not know how they can possibly run that message board with 75 forums and adding several more. It runs so smooth now that it is not even funny. Do they overrate Tyson over there too? -

Are the canes ranked? I watched them play against FSU a few times when I was going to school there for a time... FSU was always ranked high and I attended games, but it's just not the same at all... Not to bash college baseball, but I liken it to watching professional women's basketball...You see the effort and the talent, but it just doesn't feel like real baseball. (Ok, that's a bit harsh.) -

QUOTE(Goldmember @ Mar 2, 2005 -> 10:16 PM) lol, if this is the worst of his non-skill or effort related attitudinal (major payne ) problems on court i think we can accept it... Problem is he does other things just as poorly... Don't get me started on his poor play with the ball in a set offense. -

QUOTE(BridgeportHeather @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 08:36 PM) It truly amazes me how dumb their entry requirements are. I got around a 3.7-3.8 GPA in high school; however, I got a 23 on my ACT, because I took it while a Sox/Cubs game was going on (I couldn't concentrate one bit!), and didn't get in solely due to that ACT score. However, this black guy who was in the same graduating class of mine (NOT an athlete, fyi), gets a 3.0 GPA, 24 ACT, gets in JUST SO THEY CAN MEET SOME RACIAL QUOTA! It's about time for society to get rid of affirmative action, because these african americans of today never experienced theh oppression their parents and grandparents faced. Uhh...maybe your 23 had more to do with it than you think... That's not exactly a score that's gonna 'wow' many schools, regardless of the silly excuse. Sometimes you have to overcompensate just to even things out.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 05:05 PM) There was a question of work ethic with Carlos, at least from Kenny's point of view. It's been known that Carlos or Konerko had to go in order to free up the payroll to sign some guys this off-season. Konerko was a Kenny guy; Carlos was not. I also get the impression that Ozzie did not want him either... I don't know.
